Ramen Wasabi - Logan Square — Bucktown japanese where the Ramen sets the tone. It wears its years well. The cocktail program is serious. "Super fresh veggies in the salad and the spicy mayo was a perfect accompaniment to the chicken" — Ryan Wantland

“Solid ramen! Also loved the pork bao. Waited about 50 mins on a Friday at 2pm.”

“Love the chashu here.”
Love the chashu here! The original tonkotsu and miso bold and spicy are really good! I went on Saturday for dinner and if you go even a minute after open, tables will be filled and you'll have to wait so plan accordingly. You don't have to wait at the restaurant cuz they use a text service. The service can be a little slow due to how busy it gets.

“This place is the best.”
This place is the best. We always order the spicy garlic miso, tonkatsu or hakata red and they never disappoint. Highly recommend subbing the chicken for the pork, that chicken is delicious. And for appetizers try the wings and gyoza, both are excellent. The only downsides here are that parking can be difficult and wait times can be long.

“No reservations, but the wait is worth it.”
No reservations, but the wait is worth it. They have two well-marked vegan options. I had the vegan ramen, and it was the best I’ve had in the city!

“We LOVE Ramen Wasabi.”
We LOVE Ramen Wasabi. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic. On both our visits, Samuel made our entire party feel welcome and appreciated. Ramen Wasabi has a wonderful drink menu, making really hard to decide what to order. We'll definitely be back again soon!

“Tried this spot for the first time, and will certainly be coming back.”
Tried this spot for the first time, and will certainly be coming back. Andreas was our server, and was extremely informative and personable. We ended up ordering Asahi beers to pair with our spicy garlic and tonkatsu ramen, and it was incredibly delicious. Would strongly recommend this to anyone wanting an amazing ramen experience in chicago!

“45 minute wait on a Saturday night was well worth it.”
45 minute wait on a Saturday night was well worth it! Started with the Baby Kale and Tofu Salad and Karaage and both were excellent. Super fresh veggies in the salad and the spicy mayo was a perfect accompaniment to the chicken. Partner had a double Mini Char Siu Bowl with pork belly. Generous portion with lean, flavorful pork and sauce that wasn’t overly sweet. I had the Original Tonkotsu which was equally tasty. Broth makes or breaks ramen and Ramen Wasabi does it right. I highly recommend the flavor booster to add a little spice!

I ordered the Original Tonkotsu ramen, which was quite delicious. A bit long of a wait for the food but it made sense since it was so busy, and on a Tuesday evening no less. Will definitely be coming back for more!

“Solid ramen place.”
Solid ramen place. Notably, the ramen they serve is not too salty and I don’t feel too heavy after eating it. The only issue is the wait here - I went on a Sunday at 5:30 and there were only barstool seats available. I found easy free street parking on Sunday just outside the restaurant.

We’re staying in the neighborhood and decided we were ready for soul nourishing ramen and Ramen Wasabi didn’t disappoint! We got the original also with some waygu baos and the sashimi carpaccio - the sashimi was phenomenal and the ramen was very creamy. Loved the mushrooms. The Berkshire pork belly was seasoned phenomenally (I recommend saving a piece for the last bite). The cocktails were lovely as well. Would definitely return!

“Tasty ramen without being too salty.”
Tasty ramen without being too salty. Ikura bowl hit the spot. My friend enjoyed her baos and ramen as well! Casual environment great for catching up with friends or on a date.

Great ramen! We arrived at 5:10 pm on a Friday and were seated right away. The original tonkotsu was rich, flavorful, and beautifully layered, while the spicy garlic miso delivered a satisfying kick without lingering heat. I do wish they served a whole jammy egg instead of just half of an egg. The pork buns weren’t traditional—topped with mayo and shredded lettuce—but they were still delicious, with a nice mix of lean and fatty pork. Overall, excellent broth, great quality, and very affordable.
