“The interior is so nicely laid out and very airy and open with great lighting - very delicious shoyu ramen and service was really fast and friendly.”

“delicious, flavorful ramen. i got the vegan one and i was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! good prices, good portions. will definitely be back :)”

“First time coming here and I absolutely loved it. I tried the original tonkotsu soup and the shochu mule cocktail and it was delicious beyond words. The ambiance is amazing and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back!”

“Food here is amazing, love everything Spicy Miso ramen is really good!”

“I am on a mission to test places that make Ramen around Chicago(land). Tried here today a Spicy Garlic Ramen and definitely it tastes good. Have to come back to try the other 3 choices I am interested in trying. In addition, I got Pork Belly Buns, which were delicious, and Karaage... I sprinkled it with a lemon juice and it comes with like a seasoned mayo, or whatever that was 😁... good stuff!”

“I love Shoyu. Soup is heated enough, has a strong dashi flavor. noodles are smooth and chewy. The pork is sweet and melts in your mouth. It's delicious, so it's crowded. They also have Japanese whiskey.”

“There are a lot of Ramen shops in Chicago, and Ramen Wasabi is my #1. It has enough seating to keep wait time down and the offerings are diverse and everything is good. They have a great selection of beers on tap and often overlooked are their vegan options.... they have at least 3 different vegan Ramen options on the standard menu. Update: The Ramen landscape has expanded, and the pro tip to be had… is if you love porky, savory Tonkotsu ramen… you MUST come here. The pork isn’t a thin slice… but a massive chunk. Mixing the pork fat with the noodles is the ultimate bite. The broth is unreal as well. On another planet”

“Solid ramen! Also loved the pork bao. Waited about 50 mins on a Friday at 2pm.”

“Love the chashu here! The original tonkotsu and miso bold and spicy are really good! I went on Saturday for dinner and if you go even a minute after open, tables will be filled and you'll have to wait so plan accordingly. You don't have to wait at the restaurant cuz they use a text service. The service can be a little slow due to how busy it gets.”

“This place is the best. We always order the spicy garlic miso, tonkatsu or hakata red and they never disappoint. Highly recommend subbing the chicken for the pork, that chicken is delicious. And for appetizers try the wings and gyoza, both are excellent. The only downsides here are that parking can be difficult and wait times can be long.”

“One of the best ramen places I’ve tried in chicago! The spicy garlic miso ramen was really good and filling. We tried a few of the drinks as well (I would reccomend the lychee martini but all the ones we tried were good). There was a bit of a long wait but we were able to join the waitlist online. We were also celebrating a birthday and they provided a free piece of cheesecake which was a nice touch.”
