Nomu Ramen & Sushi — high-caliber japanese in Glenview. Feels current without overdoing it. There's real intention behind the cocktail list. Talikdu: "The broth was easily the best part of the dish—rich, flavorful, and well-balanced"

“The service was solid, and the atmosphere brought back memories of having ramen while living in Japan and Korea, which made the experience even more special”
It used to be a great place, now it went downhill :/ Ordered food on 11/10/25 and this is supposed to be rainbow roll on the picture.

“Although we only got sushi at a ramen place, it was delicious.”
Although we only got sushi at a ramen place, it was delicious. The godzilla roll was untraditional, but still tasty.

“Today I savored the most amazing Yasai Ramen.”
Today I savored the most amazing Yasai Ramen. Nomu is my new favorite restaurant. It is very elegant inside with large artworks of ginkgo leaves on the wall, and fun music playing. This is a great place for a date. The Ramen was especially delicious, but what sets Nomu apart is the service. The hospitality is warm and welcoming. It's out of the way, a little hidden, but well worth seeking out. I will be returning often.

“I had the chance to try Nomu Ramen, a small, locally owned Korean American business, and I’m really glad I did.”
I had the chance to try Nomu Ramen, a small, locally owned Korean American business, and I’m really glad I did. The food was fresh, flavorful, and kept me wanting to go back for another bite. The calamari was a standout and something I’d highly recommend. I also really enjoyed the cold soba noodles, this spot easily makes my top three places in Illinois for that dish. The service was solid, and the atmosphere brought back memories of having ramen while living in Japan and Korea, which made the experience even more special. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any dish you choose at Nomu Ramen!

“Looking for Vegan Ramen nearby and found this restaurant.”
Looking for Vegan Ramen nearby and found this restaurant. I ordered Yasai Shio Ramen. It was tasty. The noodles are made of Kale which is very easy to enjoy. The broth has umami flavor. This dish is a good option for vegan people. My husband and my son ordered Tonkotsu shoyu and Tonkotsu shio ramen. They both are delicious as well. The chashu pork is tender. The restaurant is big, nice and clean. Service is excellent.

“Honestly, it was better than I expected.”
Honestly, it was better than I expected. I’m a pretty picky eater when it comes to ramen and Asian food in general since I was born in Japan and lived in Taiwan for 8 years, but for American standards, this was well above average. The tonkotsu shio and yuzu shoyu ramen were both seasoned really well. The noodles could be a bit more “QQ” for my taste, but overall, they were great. The pork slices were juicy and tender too. Overall, I’d say this is easily one of the best spots in Illinois for ramen and Japanese food.

“I was invited by a friend to try this place.”
I was invited by a friend to try this place. Once we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted by the hostess and guide us on our table. Once we seated, the water came in and gave us a few minutes to check the menu. Our server gave us good options and she’s very nice and bubbly. Once we ordered it only took few minutes and our food was served. Please see the pictures with my intakes

“One of the best ramen places in town.”
One of the best ramen places in town! The Tori paitan ramen was exactly what I wanted it to be- simple, but well seasoned and delicious. Also, the Nabeyaki udon's presentation and taste were on point.

“Very nice space and environment, clean and very quiet during lunch time.”
Very nice space and environment, clean and very quiet during lunch time. This is a great spot near other restaurants and smaller shops (boba and desserts) I got ramen and it was rich broth, well cooked noodles and amazing toppings! Will be returning soon and hope to explore more of the menu!

“We had the best dining experience in their TASTING ROOM.”
We had the best dining experience in their TASTING ROOM. It was just me and my husband sitting in front of Chef Ben, who happens to be the co-owner. He creates everything in front of us, provides us with a detailed description of his presentation, and even offers us tips on the best way to savor the dish. Each of the 8 courses was exquisite. My taste buds were happy and so was my stomach. The pace was just right and the amount was decent. I mean...I could have made room for one more Wagyu sushi or an Akami tartare but it would have been pusing it. We also paid for the drink pairing; my husband opted for the sake pairing and I had the cocktail pairing. OMG... the drinks were divine! There were six of them and I LOVED them all. This was an amazing experience, especially at this price. I would highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it yourself. You will not regret it.

“We got a sushi roll and ramen.”
We got a sushi roll and ramen. Sometimes the broth for ramen can be over seasoned and end up tasting too salty, but I thought this ramen was pretty good, no complaints. Chashu was also tender. Great service as well.
