The Clove Indian and Nepali Cuisine — top-tier indian in Glenview. It gets busy, and that's part of the appeal. Creative without being gimmicky. Shishir Paudel: "The lachha paratha was perfectly layered and buttery, great with everything on the table"

“The Clove Indian and Nepali Cuisine is honestly incredible”
We had ordered mild, but it had chilli powder in it and it continued to burn our stomachs for a while after a few spoons of a MILD DAL.
“Delicious food, friendly staff and great atmosphere.”

“Went there on New Years Eve for a buffet dinner and live entertainment.”
Went there on New Years Eve for a buffet dinner and live entertainment. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. The ambiance and vibe was quite nice and felt right between takeout and fine dining. While the restaurant is located on a strip, it still felt like a quality restaurant. The food was delicious and everything was well made: The service was impeccable and we had many different people come over to assist and serve us drinks and more despite the self service buffet. My brother was a bit disappointed by the lack of options in the buffet and the owner regarded his concerns and was kind enough to offer a slight discount. Unfortunately some of the options the owner had said would be available over the phone were not available which was slightly disappointing but we still had a good time. Would highly recommend this restaurant and I would return here to give it another shot.

“5 stars I had an incredible experience at The Clove Indian & Nepali Cuisine in Glenview.”
5 stars I had an incredible experience at The Clove Indian & Nepali Cuisine in Glenview. This restaurant quickly became one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in the Chicago North Shore area. The food is outstanding — a perfect blend with dishes that are vibrant, beautifully presented, and full of depth and spice. Every single plate tasted intentional and crafted with care. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and genuinely family-friendly. You can feel how much pride the staff takes in what they do. The service stood out the most: thoughtful, personal, and truly above and beyond. They also offer a great weekday happy hour and some really fun holiday dining experiences that bring people together. From the moment we walked in, everything just felt right — the flavors, the hospitality, the energy. It’s more than a meal here; it’s an experience. If you haven’t tried The Clove yet, this is your sign to go. I can’t wait to go back.

“The Clove Indian and Nepali Cuisine is honestly incredible.”
The Clove Indian and Nepali Cuisine is honestly incredible. We came on a Friday night for a collaboration and I was blown away by how good everything was. The food is truly delicious and full of flavor. We ordered a bunch of vegetarian dishes and every single one hit. The Schezwan Eggplant was unreal and one of my top favorites. The Paneer Tikka Masala was so creamy and seasoned perfectly. Both soups were amazing especially the Hot and Sour Soup. The Veg Biryani was super flavorful and the garlic naan and lacchha paratha were so soft and fresh. The rasmalai tiramisu dessert was insane and such a perfect sweet ending. The vibes here are great. They had karaoke going on when we visited and the energy made the whole night even more fun. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and they check on you often which I really appreciate. You can tell they care about the experience and the customers. Overall this is definitely one of my new favorite Indian spots in the area and I already know I am coming back soon. If you love Indian or Indo Chinese food you need to try this place. So so good.

“Really enjoyed my visit to The Clove Indian and Nepali restaurant.”
Really enjoyed my visit to The Clove Indian and Nepali restaurant! It’s a lovely place to take someone out — the vibe and atmosphere are warm and inviting. I tried the tandoori veggies and they were excellent, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. For the main course, I ordered Paneer and garlic naan, and noodles and fried rice. The Paneer could have been a bit more spicy but over all everything was delicious. Overall, a great dining experience with good food and a nice ambiance. Would definitely come back!

“This place is highly recommended.”
This place is highly recommended. They have dumplings called Kathmandu momo which is highly recommended (Nepali national food). They have a soup that looks like Pho soup which I also enjoyed. Samosa chat is also one of the appetizer with samosa on the tasty chutney sauce. Lamb boti and chicken tikka kebab were very tender and flavorful, marinated in spices for a long time. We also enjoyed their version of tiramisu, you should try it and be surprised. The owner and the staff were very friendly and attentive. #supportlocalbusiness

“A big appreciation to Chef Kuldeep and his wonderful kitchen team for their outstanding work.”
A big appreciation to Chef Kuldeep and his wonderful kitchen team for their outstanding work. Every dish they prepare reflects consistency, creativity, and deep attention to detail. The warmth and professionalism of the team make the dining experience truly special. Among all, the tiramisu stood out as a masterpiece – light, velvety, and perfectly balanced. It is honestly one of the finest desserts I have ever tasted. Such excellence is only possible when passion meets skill in the kitchen.

“First visit to Clove tonight to celebrate my birthday.”
First visit to Clove tonight to celebrate my birthday. We went traditional with a chicken tikka masala and Tandori veggies. It was really perfectly seasoned and just the right level of heat. The masala was a creamy delicious sauce. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. They made the evening perfect. Don't miss the opportunity to try this place. Looking forward to the next visit to try some indo-Chinese dishes. 8/18/25 There's a new restaurant in town! Check out The Clove Glenview. I went tonight with a friend, and it was delicious. Don't miss the opportunity to try this Indian and Nepali cuisine. Whether you like vegan, Indian or want a little Indo-Chinese flair, there's something for everyone. We started our meal with Aloo Tikka Chat, vegan Samosa, and Szechuan eggplant. For dinner, we had chicken tikka masala (one of the best I've ever had), and Aloo gobi. Stop by and support this new local business.

“100/10 recommend this spot.”
100/10 recommend this spot. Three cuisines and all done so well: the momos, the firecracker shrimp, the mango margarita and the chaat! Those were some favs but there were so many more. So creative too like the tiramisu rasmalai. Oh and the pls e was packed in just 3 months of opening. Cool vibes, owners are great too! Don’t miss it! Grand opening on 8/15. @chicagopescetarian

“Outstanding Dining Experience.”
Outstanding Dining Experience! From the moment My Wife and I walked in, we were impressed by the warm ambiance and attentive staff, Karim. Every detail—from the presentation to the flavors—was executed flawlessly. We started with the Chicken Momo's, Afghani Chicken Kebabs with mint chutney, Chicken Lollipop, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and rich on the inside. The main course, Lamb Shank with Llaccha Paratha, Roasted Garlic Fried Rice and Chicken Manchurian, everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. And don’t skip dessert—the Rasmalai Tiramisu was one of the best We’ve ever had. Karim was our server along with Nate. Service was impeccable; our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and made excellent recommendations. We had the pleasure of meeting Executive Chef Kuldeep, the visionary behind the exquisite Indo-Nepalese delicacies. This restaurant truly exceeded expectations. Whether it’s a special occasion or a casual night out, it’s worth every penny. Can’t wait to return!
