“We tried Gyoza dumplings and they were super delicious, the thin and perfect dough was ideal just how it was supposed to be”

This is the only ramen I've ever had that is beef based and I definitely recommend everyone try it because it is different from your pork/chicken based. While it was delicious, I prefer a pork based broth with bork belly. I was very happy that you could get corn and onions in it as those are some of my favorite ramen toppings and the noodles were outstanding.

“Everything was wonderful from start to finish.”
Everything was wonderful from start to finish. We arrived about 30 minutes earlier than our reservation time (expecting to wait if needed), but we were sat right away. The server was so kind, attentive, and explained everything on the menu to us in detail. The gyoza and ramen were absolutely delicious. I will make this a place I always have to visit when I’m in Chicago.

I came to this restaurant in February of this year for my birthday, and 6 months later I’m still thinking about this ramen and trying to see when I can go back. Had the Monster Ramen and it was the most flavorful ramen I’ve ever tried. Definitely excited to go back and either get it again or try something else, I’m sure everything they have is just as good.

“Been following on instagram and wanted to try.”
Been following on instagram and wanted to try. Finally visited today (Saturday) around 2:30pm and only one other table was taken. If you are familiar with Japanese ramen then you know chasu is pork. However, this restaurant owner wanted to be little different. Their chasu is Wagyu beef. If you think pork chasu is too fatty then this place is a must. Rich flavors and their egg is perfectly cooked. Don’t be fooled by the size of the bowl for shoyu plus ramen. I was worried that it was not enough but didn’t realize the bowl was deep. It was plenty enough. Also, some had mentioned that the broth was too salty to finish. If you are aware of Japanese Ramen, then you should know that broth is not to meant to be finished. It’s just to add flavors to the ramen. We ordered beef gyoza which had good meaty taste and their egg cucumber salad was a must for me. Will need to visit again soon.

“Very cozy ramen place.”
Very cozy ramen place. My partner ordered Shio Tokusei and I orderer the Miso Wagyu. The Shio one is less salty but both are as creamy. I’ve never tried Shoyu ramen here but definitely will come back and explore more!

“Popped in for lunch on a Saturday and were seated immediately.”
Popped in for lunch on a Saturday and were seated immediately. We got the beef gyoza and the loaded gyoza. They were both amazing but the loaded was our favorite. The beef jam and rice was also amazing. We all go the shio tokusei and the broth was so rich and flavorful. The noodles were fresh and very thin. Some of the best ramen I’ve had in Chicago and already have plans to go back soon.

“Service was great.”
Service was great. Food was excellent. We are small town folks, but loved the combination of food in the Monster ramen. The beef was very tender. The broth has an amazing flavor. I would definitely come again. We were in and out on a Saturday within 45 minutes. No wait. Would recommend to someone new to the ramen game. Price was definitely high, but worth a shot no doubt! Fried dumplings were deductible as well 😊.
