“What a wonderful experience!”

What a wonderful experience!! Decided to have an early sushi dinner with my friend who was visiting. We showed up just as they opened at 4:00pm. Super clean, wonderful atmosphere and friendly service. The sushi was fantastic!! I can’t post a photo of the sushi because we ate it all😍

“Need more places like this one in Glenview.”

Need more places like this one in Glenview. Such fresh fish and great flavors. You can tell a lot of care goes into the details. Even the spring rolls were better than average. Hamachi bowl was well priced and shockingly fresh, and Ponzu was homemade. This would be worth a 20-minute drive for me. Head and shoulders better than most poke places I have been to. The service was great, and I will be returning. You should give it a try

Accidentally ended up here for sushi with a friend and could not be happier. The sushi was absolutely delicious. The fish was fresh; taste and presentation were wonderful. Will be back for sure as soon as my wife gives birth to our second child. In 4-5 days. Second try still delicious. When your three years old can’t stop eating sushi and shrimp tempura you know the food is good. Here are some more pics.

5 stars all around! Everything was just *chefs kiss*! If you are looking for a small, clean, and not so crowded, this is the place to go. From the appetizers to the sushi I was in heaven! My whole life I always have problems with hair in food or not made good or quality is bad. Finally felt amazing and happy that it all went 100% perfect at Maru sushi 🥰 ive had sushi for 20 years now and have gone to different sushi restaurants in illinois and out of state and this is the FIRST sushi restaurant that I’ve seen use SUSHI RICE! Ive has shrimp tempura so many times different places and this was the first time that it tasted like I was in Japan or something. I’m just still amazed at how amazing these ingredients they use here and my goodness the poke bowls are to die for. Greatly appreciate the service all around our spot for sushi now. NO WHERE ELSE ☺️ Also easy to order on your phone and pay with your card through your phone or pay cash up at the register.

We were searching for a poke bowl nearby and found this super cute little gem. It’s tucked away in a small plaza with plenty of parking. We wanted to eat inside but decided to order to-go so we could take home whatever we didn't finish. The interior is very pretty and cozy, with a warm atmosphere and charming aesthetics. For takeout orders, you don’t tell the person behind the counter; instead, you use a self-serve kiosk, which was easy to operate. There were so many choices, and we created our own poke bowls. The prices are very reasonable. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We weren't sure if we could sit there to eat or if the seating was for dine-in only. But we sat down and ate, and the food was super fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back. I came back with my son and had some new things —sushi, poke bowl & shumai. All fresh & delicious.

Excellent find. I've had lunch here twice now. It's convenient to my workplace and I had a hankering for some poke. I'm glad I found this place because it's all fresh and delicious. It's located in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. They have a great lunch Special that includes a poke bowl, miso soup, and a classic sushi roll/maki. It is available for take out which I appreciate so I can go get to my dog. Both meals have been super delicious and made to order. They even make their tamago (sweeten egg) which is unique as most use a manufactured product. Their tamago is fluffy and tasty - happy I tried it. I look forward to grabbing food here in the future and trying/exploring more of their options. It's worth noting their customer service is great, the dining area and prep area are both super clean and orderly. You have the option to order at a kiosk or with a person.
