“Omgoodness! So good! The chicken curry udon was delicious. Perfectly crisp katsu on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The udon was tender with the most satisfying chew. The curry sauce was well balanced and tied the entire dish together.”

“We’ve been here a few times now, which is usually the highest compliment you can give a restaurant when there are a million other places competing for dinner plans. Don’t overthink it, just go, order the King Donkatsu, get yourself your favorite adult beverage, and enjoy your life for a bit. The pork is ridiculously tender with that perfect crispy breading that makes you wonder why all fried food can’t taste like this. My wife loved the Chicken Katsu, and judging by how protective she got over the plate, I assume it was excellent. The udon is also fantastic, comforting, rich, and exactly what you want alongside a crispy katsu situation. Even the sides are great. Nothing feels like an afterthought; the whole meal just comes together ridiculously well.”

“All donkatsu I ordered tasted very good and they were not very greasy or heavy. The side dishes were also delicious and go really well with donkatsu. I really wanted to try cheese katsu but it was sold out unfortunately; i’ll definitely come back to try that later!”

“Heavily recommend the Katsu & Cream Udon! Both items were not super oily & heavy, yet both very tasty. Katsu was lightly fried and accompanied with a slightly sweet wonderful sauce. Cream udon was delicious and included seafood; it was not heavy like other cream udons. Service was wonderful - very kind lady! Ambiance is fun and clean. Will come back! FYI the negative reviews seem to come from rude, inconsiderate customers trying to come within 30 minutes of close. Don't be that person :)”

“The food was super yummy and served with a delicious miso soup. I got the Chicken Katsu and the portion size was super perfect! I really enjoyed the meal, and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable.”

“Craving some Katsu and came across this place. Food came out quickly with everything tasting fantastic. Will definitely be back.”

“The tonkatsu is incredibly crispy, and the udon is rich and savory! This is already my third visit, and the staff has been so friendly. The owner always welcomes us warmly, which makes the experience even better. We got it to-go order also, it was still crispy and delicious. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend the tonkatsu and the curry udon!”

“Classic k-katsu house flavors right here in Glenview! Located in the old FunBeerKing spot.”

“I personally really love the stir fried udon items on the menu! The carbonara and k-rose udon are really really good. Have not tried the katsu but have heard good things about it from the friends I went with. Service was good. Will have to come back more when we’re all back in town.”
