Ricobene's
Ricobene's — an italian spot in Chinatown. Nothing about this place is trying to impress you, and that's the point, and moves fast. "Oh and one the best parts is they have a parking lot across the street that is free parking" — Estelle Jenkins [$]

“You can't pass the breaded steak sandwich. It's a must!!”

“Good as always. If you are a foodie or you are a tourist you need to try this place at least once.”

“After hearing so much about Ricobene’s as an essential Chicago restaurant, I finally made a point to stop in for dinner. Breaded Steak sandwich was massive and pretty tasty. Cheese fries were a little underwhelming. Although my heart can’t handle frequent visits here, I understand the appeal. A no frills joint serving good sandwiches.”

“My first time eating "authentic" deep dish pizza. Was disappointed. Took 40 minutes, very little meat, didn't like the crust.”

“The service I received yesterday was terrible. I received my online order & the sandwich was made incorrectly. I called the restaurant to see what could be only a credit / partial refund and yes I had to bring the sandwich back. I get there to meet the rude manger “ Dani” in person. She had the male cashier ask me if I wanted them to put the sauce on the sandwich. Why would I want that and I had to drive back to the restaurant with a cold sandwich and cold fries. She never once said I apologize or offered any compensation for the inconvenience. Do better and train your managers on common courtesy when it’s a mess up on your end. Decided to visit this place again & was disappointed again. I Got down there to the restaurant for a remake it was incorrect as I opened it in front of the manager. I just walked through the door & the 3rd sandwich was incorrect. I literally just paid for a sandwich I cannot eat due to a dairy allergy. RICOBENE’S PLEASE DO BETTER.”

“We orders some hot wings, usually when we get our wings, the fries are separated from the wings and everything is properly placed separately with a parchment paper, when I opened the container I saw this mess my fries were all soggy and the wings tasted off. Who ever made the order was obviously not having a good day at work to send it with us this way. Terrible and disappointing.”
“It can get a bit busy and cramped here. But the food here is always amazing. It is always consistent and delicious. It's honestly not too pricey either. Whenever I take my kids to either a museum or zoo trip in the city, this is where we go after. There is a very big menu, so lots to choose from. There is also a very large parking lot across the street. It is not an easy drive or even well manicured. But it is a big lot. Just drive cautiously. Street parking is also available, just on a first come basis. Can't remember if there is a charge though. I don't think there is but I honestly can't remember. I haven't parked on the street for more than three years.”
“One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Good service and atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!”
“I had a phone in order and it was ready when I got there. The staff was pleasant and very helpful.”
