Went here with my family…we went for the Italian ice. We tried strawberry-pina colada, watermelon, mango-pina colada, and watermelon-mango. We enjoyed all the flavors! A must go!

I really enjoyed the mango strawberry Italian Ice, this is my second go personally but I have gotten this Italian Ice before as a child. They keep a fairly clean dining area, simple but good for the summer time. I'd say try the rest of the menu before going off of my food rating, since it's mainly for the Ice cream.

I got the Italian beef, fries, and some Italian ice. The ice tasted delicious and was pretty fairly priced. They have a lot of flavors that I'm interested to try. The fries were good. The Italian beef was also pretty good. Not amazing, but good enough that I might come back. I felt that the portions were pretty large for the price, and everything was a decent value. My only complaint is that I had to wait a bit for the beef, and they don't seem to have online ordering, so I couldn't order ahead. I'll see if I can call it in next time.

I cane for the frozen Italian lemonade to beat the heat, and was thoroughly satisfied. We tried mango, watermelon, strawberry, and pineapple. There's chunks of actually fruit in the flavors, and unlike some places where color doesn't signify taste, these colors match the actual flavors. I've had some places where the flavors still tasted like lemon, and these were exactly what they said they were flavor wise.

We stopped through on our way home to Michigan. My husband is from Chicago and familiar with their food so he knew where to go when I requested a burger. I changed my mind when I saw the menu n got the brisket sandwich. It is literally THE BEST TASTING SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD IN LIFE!!! I wish we lived closer so I could enjoy it more often. I'm already thinking of the next reason we need to go to Chicago so I can have another taste...omg, so good!

This review is only regarding the Italian ice. When it’s summer time, we come here for Italian ice (they are seasonal). When it’s fall and winter time, we go to Freddie’s to get our fix. But we LOVE Ferro’s!!!! We wish they made their ice year round. We always have some in our freezer. The strawberry, mango, lemon, pina colada, and pineapple are soooooooooo good. Real chunks of fruit. Excuse me but I’m going to take my strawberry Italian ice out of the freezer and eat some now :)

we stopped by for some Italian ice, they have a decent lot consider its in Chicago and a few table outdoor patio $4.95 for 10oz, $5.95 for 16oz, $7.95 for 32oz, $22 for half gallon and $45 for a gallon.  Price are not bad but I would say just get the 10oz or the 16oz, 32oz is way too big lol.  I got the 32oz, REGRET lol  my wife got the 16oz couldn’t finish lol, two kids shared 16oz finished in 15min LOL Services was good The ice tasted great, not the best but pretty delicious and fairly priced right.  The have a lot of flavors:  Choice of lemon, strawberry, watermelon, pineapple, mango, pina colada, cucumber lime

I have driven past this establishment for decades, but I was meeting a family member here to pick up something. This was a real hard-core food experience. The meat was extremely tender. Breaded pork steak sandwich. This 2 lb beast was the real deal. Seriously so large, I got two meals out of it. The best part is at the end of the off ramp and back on the freeway when it's time to go home and nap. Btw-the pic is only half of the sandwich.
