“Went for my mom's 80th bday.”

Went for my mom's 80th bday. Food was fabulous. Service was spot on. If there was a negative it is that seating was tight but it wasn't a deal breaker.

“From Minneapolis, and we went for my birthday dinner.”

From Minneapolis, and we went for my birthday dinner! Me and my fiancé had no reservation and walked in at 8pm and happened to get a table right in front! our server was attentive and amazing! all the wait staff filled waters, took our plates, and made it feel like home. the food was incredible with huge portions as well! food was delicious i can’t say that enough. the owner came up to us after we finished eating and asked me if i liked popcorn, and after i said yes he said “happy birthday” and gave us a 3 tub variety of nuts on clark popcorn! so sweet!! our hearts and stomachs stay at this gem in chicago 🖤🩷

Everything was amazing here! The service was great, our server was on top of it and made sure we had a good dining experience. The cocktails were perfect. Large portions of food and it comes to the table HOT. I think this may be my favorite restaurant in Chicago!

The owner is very attentive. We arrived about 1 hour before the reservation and Armando Vazquez give us some apperitizers literally outside. Amazing service and food!

Delicious pastas, fish, and of course scarola. The decor is very old school and fun (if you like that). The servers were friendly and welcoming and had great suggestions for us.

Great classic Chicago spot! We didn’t call for a reservation, but they were kind enough to work us in. Super big portion sizes at a reasonable price. I loved the anti pasta app and the tiramisu was a must-have!

This place was so cool! The walls are covered with pictures of celebrities and families. The food was UNBELIEVABLE. For how small and busy the place was, service was wonderful and fast! 10/10 recommend! You should definitely call for a reservation because they book up fast!

“Y’all already know this place is legit.”

Y’all already know this place is legit. But let me tell ya. Was able to snag a reservation for 8:30 on a last minute prayer, they were running a little behind (20-30 mins) for the table though. Rightfully so, because once you’re there you don’t want to leave. The owner felt bad after awhile so he brought me a shot to apologize for the delay to relieve the stress of waiting. Once we were seated we knew we were in for a great time. Our man Luca took awesome care of us. Dude showed us everything we needed to know about the spot and what to get to make our dinner memorable. We drank vino, had some specials for appetizers, and all had different types of meals that will give you 2-3 meals in one. Luca was so attentive and friendly he made the meal that was already out of bounds a fun and memorable experience. Place is a must go to have top tier Italian food. But Luca and the rest of the staff make it where you stay for another glass of wine and keep coming back for the service and friendly atmosphere. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. Neighborhood Italian spot that will HIT every time you go no matter what you get. Worth the wait and every penny such a great spot!
