I dined at La Bella Trattoria for my solo trip into the city because of their Christmas Eve speciality menu. Sebastian was my server, and he was absolutely the best: very attentive, helped me decide on a couple of menu items, and very kind. All staff members I interacted with were also nice and friendly. The food, as I kept saying throughout the meal, was fantastic. All dishes were flavorful and filling. I'm so glad I tried this place and menu out. I'll have to stop in on a non-holiday someday.

You need to go here if you're ever in Chicago. Amazing food. The calamari was excellent, perfectly cooked, not over done. Lamb chops were excellent, penne pasta was very spicy but also flavorful, everything out group had was excellent. Val the server was attentive and entertaining without being overbearing. 10/10 recommend.

Went here on Tuesday for my birthday dinner. The food was really good especially the crispy ravioli. I got coffee because it was so cold out and it was perfect. My brother also got an espresso martini and said it was amazing. Had their tiramisu for desert and it was perfect. A bit pricey but worth it.

This review reflects the exceptional commitment this restaurant demonstrates in creating memorable experiences. Their attention to detail was evident from the moment we made our reservation, during which we included a small note indicating that the dinner was for our engagement. Upon arrival we were seated promptly, and Marcus provided exemplary service throughout the evening. He offered thoughtful accommodations, including a serving of pesto to accompany our bread appetizer, which added a refined touch to the start of our meal. The fig plum prosciutto pizza was outstanding and generously portioned, easily shared between the two of us. As a final gesture, we were presented with complimentary champagne and chocolate cake, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed and deeply appreciated. Although we were simply guests, the staff made us feel truly celebrated on our engagement day. The experience was exceptional in every respect.

We enjoyed breakfast here. The steak and eggs are excellent. The breakfast potatoes are one of their specialities. They smash small potatoes and fry them until crispy. The breakfast sandwich is huge. Everything was delicious.

We were looking for a good italian restaurant for dinner and so happy we decided on this one! We walked in and were greeted right away. Roberto was our server and he was excellent! On top of the amazing service, the food was delicious. We started off with the cheesy garlic bread, and our entrees were caprese ravioli (highly recommend) & the chicken alfredo. Lastly, we had tiramisu which was also a 10/10. If you want great service, food, and a quiet & elegant dinner spot, this is the place for you!

“Went here solo for an interview lol.”

Went here solo for an interview lol. After, I got dinner. This was prior to the rebrand but these dishes are still on the new menu. I got the House Minestrone Soup (10/10), Caprese Ravioli (15/10), and Tiramisu(heaven). I also got the La Pera cocktail which was excellent. Would absolutely eat here again.

The place looks really nice but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the atmosphere. We ordered the Puttanesca pasta, a pepperoni pizza, and fried calamari. Everything was decent, but nothing that really stood out in flavor. It’s a lovely setting, but I was hoping for a bit more from the dishes.
