Forno Mauri! Wow! What a great little treat right on Printers Row. This spot boasts all Italian sourcing for their products, from the flour to the tomatoes to the cheese and beyond. We tried the meat and cheese combo, the lasagna, a cheese pie with extra cheese and a specialty pie. The crust was crispy, the cheese goey, and the topings were savory. The Lasagna takes a minute but if you like pasta give it a try. We will be back!

I was very excited to try this new place and it did not disappoint. We got an order of bruschetta, which only came with 2 pieces (which made it difficult to split between 3 of us.) Then we got the di norcia pizza, which was sooo delicious! You can tell that it’s made to order with fresh ingredients. For dessert, we got the tartufo gelato, which was a unique and yummy treat. I definitely will return!

The most transcendent pizza crust in Chicago has just arrived at Printers Row! But the trick: you have to eat it immediately from the oven! Dine in, get a bottle of wine, the tricolore salad, maybe an appetizer, and you’ll be set. (Also: they have actual lasagna for the deep dish pizza lovers. 😉)Ask for Gaspare—he’ll make sure you have great service. (Everyone here is really great though.) We’ll be back again soon.

“My husband and I very much enjoyed the pizza here.”

My husband and I very much enjoyed the pizza here! It was light, toasty, and so tasty! We had the Ortolana and Amatriciana and both were really good and we thought they made a great pairing together! Service was also super attentive and thoughtful. We enjoyed learning a bit more about the food and the chef even came out to check on us! The arancini, tiramisu, and espresso were delicious too. I would definitely not miss out on the espresso if you like great coffee ☕! Highly recommend!

Forno Mauri is an amazing place! From the moment you step inside, the cozy and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The pizza here is seriously delicious. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The toppings are fresh and full of flavor. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic dining experience! Great pizza, awesome atmosphere, and excellent service – we’ll definitely be coming back for more!
