“One of the classic Chicago restaurants in this part of town (along with Miller's). You feel like you've traveled back in time 100 years, since the interior reminds you of old movies from that era. The food selection is great—meat, pizzas, burgers, you name it—and everything tastes very good. Even when the restaurant is fully packed, the service is efficient and handles the crowd perfectly.”

“Delicious food and a really cool pub style restaurant. It captures true Chicago style cuisine. If you’re looking for a spot that has great deep dish and hand held sandwiches this place is for you! Our server was also super attentive and sweet. All in all a great experience. I will be back with friends and family that visit from out of town and want Chicago food. Pictures includes the Italian beef with mozzarella, the ‘Chicago’ deep dish pizza, and the creamy chicken soup. Yum!”

“Loved loved loved the Tavern style pizza - they cut the larger pizzas into squares which make it very easy to pick up and eat. The smaller pizzas are cut into wedges. Great booth seating, old style ambiance.”

“Had the opportunity to meet the owner who was very pleasant and shared the amazing history of this location. What a great place to eat at. It was clean, the pizza was excellent, and the wait time was minimal. Unfortunately the secret bar was not open yet but we are looking forward to returning to try it out.”

“Very authentic and nice restaurant. It is the old hangout spot of Al Capone, and you can see the booth he used to sit in. Ask the staff to show you his escape door to the underground tunnels. I had the ribs and deep dish pizza; they are both amazing.”

“Dobar ugođaj puba, osoblje ljubazno, hrana odlična. Ako se naručuje pizza 14 inch dovoljna za tri osobe. Burger odličan. Prostor treba malo osvježiti.”

“The Sicilian deep dish is comfortably the best I've had - its strong tastes are blended together in just the right proportion. Signature ribs fell off the bone. Portions are generous, service is friendly and alert. Booth tables a bit too cramped for 4 adults”

“My burger was very good. Pizza according to my friend was very good as well.”

“This is a great local dinner spot, a place to unwind and relax with an old vibe and charm. Service and food were very good. Their Cesar salad and their French fries are delicious! Would recommend this pub for anyone in Chicago for dinner and drinks, with family, friends or date night!”

“A Chicago staple with a comfort food menu of all the city's staples. Warm, welcoming atmosphere. I went with the rigatoni with Italian sausage and vodka sauce, while my lunch companion opted for French onion soup and chilli. Perfect meal before a Chicago Symphony matinee. The personal deep dish pizza option is always a hit. Lots of nearby parking garages.”

“Very interesting place, great vibes and great food. A lot of history”
