Looked up great pizza by Northwestern University, and didn’t want same old Lou’s. This place was great. Amazing garlic knots, and yes get the ranch/marinara combo upgrade, you’ll thank me after. Small pizza 13” is good for one hungry person. Great under carriage and quality ingredients. I’ll definitely come back. A little tough getting parking on the street during busy times, but not too bad.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to love this place as much as I did, but everything was super fresh and packed with flavor. You can tell they really care about their ingredients. We tried the Green Dreams pizza, the Rabbit (veggie) slice, a Detroit Square, the seasonal salad, the seasonal vegetables, and the garlic knots. The seasonal salad was crisp and refreshing, and the seasonal vegetables were roasted perfectly with this creamy aioli that just brought everything together—such a good combo. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, and my favorite was the Detroit-style pie—crispy edges, cheesy, and just the right amount of sauce. You can really taste the freshness in the dough and toppings. And the garlic knots? Next level—soft, flavorful, and honestly, some of the best I’ve had. Beyond the food, the vibe inside is cozy and bright, making it a great spot for a quick bite or a casual hangout with friends. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Evanston—whether you’re grabbing a slice or sitting down for a full meal, you won’t be disappointed!

My family and I have lived in Evanston for 20 years and I just discovered this place. Outstanding service really fun atmosphere and the food is really fresh and very flavorful. We ordered several pizzas and a salad and just devoured it. Highly recommend giving them a try I suggest pick up not delivery so it’s piping hot And they have gluten-free

I’m so grateful to have this delicious pizza place in my neighborhood! I live in Lincolnwood and it’s only 10-15mins away! High quality oven pizza and bread!! With even better customer services!the dough/ bread on these pizzas are so good!! Must get their 3 garlic knots! 10/10 please dip it with their homemade ranch!!

This is such an amazing place for New York style and Detroit style pizza. I like the fact I can buy by slice. My favorite is spinach and garlic white sauce infused Detroit style square pizza slices. All the staffs are young and very kind. I wish it comes a little cheaper though!

I was visiting from Georgia for a doctors appt and randomly stopped by here and had the pizza I have ever had in my life! I got the raccoon and it was amazing. Funnily enough I was wearing a shirt with a raccoon on it when I came in! Lovely food and staff!!

This is like no other pizza I've ever tasted! Light and flavorful and don't feel like your going to bust even after 3 of the big slices! Could easily eat here 3 or 4xs a week!!! There garlic knots are so soft and even better when dipped in there homemade ranch !!! There silverware and glasses were noticably spotless!!! Since eating here a yr ago,we haven't ordered pizza 🍕 from anywhere else and it will stay that way!

This Evanston pizza shop feels simultaneously new and hip while also feeling like a long-standing classic. The pizza is amazing, some of the best slices I've ever had! You can get pizza by the slice or pie, and they also have a gluten-free option that you wouldn't even realize was gluten-free. The pizza and sandwich ingredients, craft beers, and hard cider are all local and carefully selected. I'm usually not big on sandwiches but the sandwiches here are so amazing! I've been eating them for lunch regularly now. There is soft serve oatly ice cream which is unique, dairy-free, and delicious. This family-friendly pizza shop is doing everything right, I highly recommend it!

Perfection. DeSalvo's Pizza is firing on all cylinders. The place is clean, light filled, hip, and cool. Great hospitality from the entire team. Even the Chef's said hi! Onto the food. Ordered some slices from the case (The Racccon, The Rabbit, Pepperoni, and some garlic knots) everything was superb. Perfectly foldable, high quality ingredients, flavor city. We also ordered the season salad and the seasonal vegetable. I HIGHLY recommend both of these, they were amazing. I took home brownie and chocolate chip cookie as well as the Turkey Foccacia sandwich. It is no surprise that these are so incredibly delicious. Do yourself a favor and go to DeSalvo's Pizza.
