Caribbean Jerk Palace
Caribbean Jerk Palace stands out for flavorful oxtails, jerk chicken with an especially popular jerk sauce, and generous sides like peppery mac and cheese, candied yams, cabbage, rice, and fried plantains. Regulars praise the welcoming staff, open dining room, and visible grill that adds an authentic feel, though service and food quality can be inconsistent—reviews mention burnt or cold chicken, rude interactions, cleanliness concerns, and closing before posted hours.

“First time coming here and the staff was friendly and patient with me. Food is amazing. Not a bad item on the plate. 10/10”

“Food: I ordered the oxtail dinner. It comes with rice and two sides. I chose Mac and fried plantains. Oxtails were very tender and flavorful; not salty. The plantains were perfect and the mac was amazing(they use black pepper, YAY!!). Atmosphere: Very open and spacious. The aroma was very pleasant; you have to go to experience it! I love that you can see the grill; it’s visually appealing and gives it an authentic feel. Service: The staff were very welcoming, very busy, but still professional and friendly. They have a text message service that notifies you when your food is ready. Which is perfect because just in case you may want to sit in your car or step outside. Anyway, go ahead and experience it all for yourself!”

“The mac and and cheese, rice and beans, as well as the dark meat chicken was good. The greens were extremely salty… eating it with the chicken didn’t even help. Then they got our order wrong as well! I paid for dressing and they gave me fries, which were cold, soggy and lacked flavor!”

“Food is horrible they gave me burnt jerk wings and I asked for jerk chicken tacos they sent me a pita bread with jerk meat”

“If I can give this 0 stars I ordered a jerk taco which can out to $20 I wanted just cheese lettuce and jerk sauce they gave me dog food basically this supposed to be a taco they put burnt jerk meat on pita bread with cheese rice and some that look like mess. Ask for a refund which they refused even though there is no policy that stat other wise PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WACK”

“I placed an order for a catfish dinner 30 minutes before closing. When I got home it was all sides no fish. And when I called them they said they were closed but I had about 20 mins to get back.”

“I placed a catering order in January for my best friend’s baby shower, including Jerk Chicken, Mac and Cheese, and Greens for 40 guests. When we opened the trays at the event, there was NO chicken, just sides. We had to scramble mid event to find chicken fingers from a nearby spot, spending more money and dealing with unnecessary stress. While the cost of the chicken was refunded, it didn’t cover the inconvenience, added expense, or embarrassment. For a catering order at a major event, accuracy is critical. This mistake caused a lot of chaos, and I wouldn’t rely on them again for any important occasion.”

“After calling for a week straight at the time they open for turkeys tips and them saying they didn’t have any in stock. I finally had someone else to call and order two turkey tips without the sides and for $33 and change they gave me 1 order and split it into two orders barely a half an order in each. So I asked is this all I get for that much money, they goes to tell me they don’t have anymore turkey tips in the fridge. They did give me a half of white chicken. But that’s still not right.”
