We hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome party for our wedding here in Aug 2025, and it was the perfect venue! The team was amazing to work with - so patient with our requests and willing to work with us to stay under the budget we had. We thought the value for our money was incredible; for what we spent on both events, we would only have gotten a dinner at another place. The space is absolutely beautiful and it was incredibly convenient to have both events in one place. We had about 60 people at the rehearsal dinner and then opened up to the welcome event with ~130, and they just removed some of the dinner tables in between. There were tons of places for people to congregate and sit. I would strongly recommend Canal St Eatery for anyone hosting the same events. Thank you to Elise and Thaina for their support!

Pretty good selection of the unlimited pastas and pizza styles. The Pepe pasta was the best I’ve had. Also the bolognese sauce is so fresh. I’m sometimes heartburn sensitive and felt fine after! Fantastic atmosphere for ADULTS! First date, quick meal, whatever.

We had our wedding ceremony on the Green, cocktail hour at AfterBar, and our reception at the Eatery and the transition between the 3 spaces was seamless. All the food and drinks were fabulous, and the chic and modern spaces really set the tone for everyone to have a wonderful time. The location is also unbeatable, easy to get to via public transportation with a garage parking option on-site. The Eatery/AfterBar's event team were also so responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, were thoughtful and accommodating regarding guests' dietary restrictions, and were great with our other vendors (Rob Karlic Photography, Naturally Yours Events, Flowers for Dreams, Defloured Bakery, Umaga Bakehouse, and BreezyBooth). I cannot recommend this venue and their team highly enough, and we look forward to coming back often!

I visited this spot because of this one-time largely marketed happy hour deal. It was wonderful! The surrounding environment is definitely corporate but inside of the restaurant space it feels like a hidden lounge gem. The food is definitely just good. It wasn’t anything special. But the deals this particular night in June were great! Kind atmosphere! Would return if they were doing a similar event.

A romantic place and good to bring your date here. The food here and the atmosphere were quite good. It's quiet and easy to talk and it is so romantic inside. The food didn't take too long to come out. Our server was nice and happy to give you an idea of what to order. The price is not bad. If you come here for the first time and don't know what pasta you would like, I recommend ordering the pasta fight. It's huge and good for sharing. The fish was good too. It's quite hard to find the parking tho. You can choose between self-parking at another building or the same building.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10) Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Canal Street Eatery and Market, and the experience was simply outstanding. From the moment you walk in, the place welcomes you with a warm, modern and inviting atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot that feels perfect for a special dinner or just to enjoy incredible food in a relaxed, elegant setting. The food was absolutely spectacular. We started with the truffle pizza, which was an absolute hit, perfectly baked dough and that deep, rich truffle flavor that elevated every bite. Then I had the carbonara pasta, and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve had in my life. Perfectly creamy, with crispy guanciale and a flawless balance of flavors. It was authentic, indulgent and unforgettable. We also tried a bolognese pasta and it was another highlight. The meat sauce was rich, slow-cooked, and full of depth — true comfort food made with care and expertise. The service was attentive and professional without being intrusive. Overall, Canal Street Eatery and Market is a solid 10/10. A true gem I would recommend without hesitation and I’ll definitely be back.

Great place. Food quality for the pizza and salad was delicious. They had this spicy pepperoni pizza with honey and it was phenomenal. The dining experience felt elevated. We did make a reservation beforehand. The place did seem packed and it was probably because the all you can eat time block we were in.
