“Great place and the food was amazing, The staff is so nice Would definitely coming back”

“Express lunch option, grade plate for $14.99 with 3 entree selections, 2 pieces think flakey dough pita, rice, and 2 appetizer samosas (cardamom, slightly spicy, airy light deep-fried) -Chicken makhani, personal favorite for the thick, creamy, butter sauce, tender chicken chunks, and threads of reddish / cheesy (?) ingredient -Chicken curry, flavorful with spices and large chicken chunks; interestingly no potato or carrots -Palak paneer, a smooth liquid-y paste with chunks of chewy paneer; mild, sweetish taste”

“We went here for dinner looking for something good and cheap. The inside is very beautiful with vibrant murals. The food is absolutely AMAZING for such a cheap price. The price is literally comparable to Mcdonald’s. Would definitely recommend!”

“Just got this delivered on Uber Eats and it was outstanding. The Naan is massive, and the chicken tikka masala was 10/10. Got it spicy and it did not disappoint. The Samosa Chat was also great- amazing taste and texture. I’ll for sureeee be ordering this again.”

“The food at Himalayan Restaurant is flavorful and well prepared, with rich spices and authentic taste. Dishes are fresh, satisfying, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Service is friendly and the ambiance is pleasant, making it a nice place to dine in. The only downside is that the prices are slightly higher compared to similar spots, which affects the overall value a bit. Overall, a good dining experience with tasty food — worth visiting if you’re in the area.”

“We stopped in on a whim when visiting Chicago, and ended up having a great meal! It was freezing outside and all the dishes hit the right spot to warm us up. We will definitely return next time we are in the Windy City! I have a sweet tooth so I recommend finishing off with some gulab jamun.”

“This was our first time having Indian food and it was so good.”

“chicken biriyani tastes so good and portion is great (don’t order spicy if you cannot handle the heat) also recommend the cold dessert, cheese ball with milk, so good”

“It's been a while since I had Momos. And this restaurant delivered. The taste was as authentic as you can get outside of Katmandu, Calcutta, Darjeeling or Gangtok. Some elements in service can be improved. Like having chopsticks to pick and eat the momos instead of fork or even ask if the customer needs any drink besides water.”

“We had a little party and ordered the chicken Tikka masala , biryani and a few other things and it all was SO DELICIOUS!! Please excuse my presentation on the plate 😆 I will 💯 go back and dine in and support this place. Loved it!!!”

“Enjoyed the momos, both chicken and veg. The chicken kofta, Baingan and paneer all tasted the same. Would be nice if the flavours were better. Naan was good.”

“Solid spot for Indian/nepali food! I got the lunch combo with came with 2 curries (can pay an extra dollar for a 3rd), rice, naan, and 2 samosas. The chicken curry was delicious and super flavorful. The palak paneer was okay, a little bland compared to the chicken curry. I also got the chicken momos which were super juicy and delicious! Friendly service as well, great stop for a quick lunch!”
