“In summary certainly not bad, if they reduced the salt and paid a little more attention to customers needs, spice dishes to sensible levels and don’t let drinks run dry, it would be a fairly good quick stop”
Came across this place a lot during my travels to the downtown area and decided to give it a try.
I ordered their veg momos and veg biryani. The veg momos were raw, undercooked and very bland.
Thier BOGO free is just two half servings.

“Just got this delivered on Uber Eats and it was outstanding.”
Just got this delivered on Uber Eats and it was outstanding. The Naan is massive, and the chicken tikka masala was 10/10. Got it spicy and it did not disappoint. The Samosa Chat was also great- amazing taste and texture. I’ll for sureeee be ordering this again.

“The food at Himalayan Restaurant is flavorful and well prepared, with rich spices and authentic taste.”
The food at Himalayan Restaurant is flavorful and well prepared, with rich spices and authentic taste. Dishes are fresh, satisfying, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Service is friendly and the ambiance is pleasant, making it a nice place to dine in. The only downside is that the prices are slightly higher compared to similar spots, which affects the overall value a bit. Overall, a good dining experience with tasty food — worth visiting if you’re in the area.

We stopped in on a whim when visiting Chicago, and ended up having a great meal! It was freezing outside and all the dishes hit the right spot to warm us up. We will definitely return next time we are in the Windy City! I have a sweet tooth so I recommend finishing off with some gulab jamun.

“It's been a while since I had Momos.”
It's been a while since I had Momos. And this restaurant delivered. The taste was as authentic as you can get outside of Katmandu, Calcutta, Darjeeling or Gangtok. Some elements in service can be improved. Like having chopsticks to pick and eat the momos instead of fork or even ask if the customer needs any drink besides water.

“I loved this place.”
I loved this place! The food was Excellent. The service was great! This is my new favorite Indian cuisine restaurant. The atmosphere is more of a lunch dinner/ quick bite type of place but you can make a date night out of it and byob.

“Definitely coming back.”
Definitely coming back! Wow the flavors are outstanding, as soon as I got food in my mouth I knew I would be coming back. I went here late at night and even then the food tasted fresh and absolutely delicious. We had Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Chili Masala plus garlic Naan!

“Got the typical South Asian taste.”
Got the typical South Asian taste! I love chicken tika masala and the lamb. The portion is quite large, enough for me and my two other friends and we still have some leftovers to bring home. I ordered 1 packet and it’s worth the price. Will definitely try again next time I go to Chicago

“First time trying this restaurant and this type of food.”
First time trying this restaurant and this type of food. I was very sceptical on trying it, but my family wanted it. The restaurant was a bit small and tables a bit too close to each other. It's a nice spot nothing fancy. We actually had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a table. After waiting OMG it did not disappoint, I was pleasantly surprised on all the spice flavors. For starters we had 1 order of 8 chicken steamed Momo's (basically dumplings nothing special) served with two types of Himalayan spicy sauces (so flavorful, Spicy, Delicious), don't recall the names. Also had 2 orders (4) Vegetable Samosa, so tasty and spicy, we all really enjoyed that. Last appetizer was included in the main meal (4) vegetarian spring rolls (nothing special just a basic spring roll). For the main course we had the family meal for 4, it had many different variations, but we had Paneer Bhurji Mild , not too sure what it was but it was very creamy and cheese (Delicious). 2nd we had Chicken Curry Mild (Delicious) 3rd we had Chicken Tikka Masala Mild (Delicious) Too eat all of this we ordered garlic Naan And a side of Basmati rice It was just the right amount of food and for a good price. A family of four 2 adults and 2 teens dined for just at $100 (not including taxes and tip) and still had left overs to take home. By the end of the meal I was giving my wife a high five for making a great choice on that restaurant. And if we are ever in the neighborhood we will definitely be dining in again.
