Great sandwich/salad spot, tasted really fresh and had good (but busy) seating to eat.

The bread at this shop is absolutely amazing, and the portions are huge! I bought a chocolate croissant today! It was so heavy, I thought I was carrying a watermelon. It cost $7. When I got home and opened it, I realized there was about half a bottle of chocolate sauce inside. I also bought a pistachio croissant before, which was also incredibly delicious, even better than the chocolate one. You all have to try it; it has a wonderfully sweet flavor. Their matcha latte is also fantastic. However, I didn't really like the ginger pineapple juice. The service was excellent. The shop is small, but the atmosphere is very nice. I think the shop near River Works has a better and larger atmosphere. Avoid going on weekends to avoid the queues.

The bagel mash up was the perfect amount of cream cheese and salmon. The line may look long, but I was quickly seated with food delivered shortly after.

The local is conveniently located 1 block away from Millenium park. The food is exceptionally good, I enjoyed my avocado toast with smoked salmon and a coffee, the order was ready in a couple of minutes. The staff is kind and help you with the right menu choices.

This location near Millennium Park is a perfect pitstop whether you're sightseeing or heading to class. The vibe is upbeat and full of life, with bright interiors and a tempting display of baked goods right up front. I grabbed an iced matcha and a rainbow cake slice both visually stunning and surprisingly well-balanced in flavor. It’s the kind of café where you can fuel up and feel inspired at the same time.

This café popped up when I searched for popular coffee shops nearby, and as soon as I got there, I understood why. It was packed They have plenty of indoor seating along with a few outdoor tables, but my favorite part was the open-air design. The huge windows let in so much natural light and make it the perfect place to enjoy a Chicago summer while people watching. One of my friends who lives in Chicago told me this place has the best hot chocolate in the city. I was in the mood for a latte instead, so I ordered one along with the avocado toast. Both were really good, and even though there was a small line to order, the service was quick and the staff was friendly. I also noticed lots of people working and studying here, so it definitely has that neighborhood café vibe. The highlight for me, though, was the VIEW. The café overlooks the elevated train tracks, so you can watch the trains go by every few minutes (check out the videos below!). I could have easily sat there for hours just enjoying the view with my coffee. That alone makes this place worth a visit.

What a great place! The decor is simple/industrial but very nice. The space is a little tight but comfy, one large community table with a few 2 seaters and a 4-seat window bar. Menu is small but diverse and the staff are friendly and efficient, remembering my brother-in-law from a few visits over a few weeks. The pastries look and TASTE amazing, the food was great and flavorful.
