“THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! This is a great place to take picky eaters who want to branch out and try something new and comforting. DELICIOUS.”

“Panlasa was sooo good. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. We got the musubis, lumpia, sticky wings, atchara, ube cannolis, adobo, kalua pork, and the Huli Huli BBQ chicken and honestly everything hit. The Huli Huli chicken was definitely my favorite, super juicy! The adobo and kalua pork was really rich and comforting, with a little bit of smokiness into it. The ube cannolis were such a good sweet treat too kinda crispy, creamy, and not overly sweet at all. Also got to talk to the owner for a bit about their events and he was genuinely so nice and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!”

“Best Filipino food I’ve had in the city so far! We ordered a plate with two mains and two sides. Everything was phenomenal. Highly recommend.”

“I decided to visit the place before leaving Chicago. I love the food at Panlasa. The lumpia is my favorite. They also had live music playing when I got there. Enjoyed chilling and vibing while savoring the food.”

“Best meal I ever have after a long ride as a cyclist + delivery foods in Downtown Chicago The owner & staff are the coolest with kindness. Is anyone love to try it Come & check them out! 💯💯💯💯💯 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽”

“Lunch at Panlasa was savory and delicious, especially on a cold Chicago day. I love the amalgamation of Filipino + Hawaiian cuisines into a nice friendly menu. I had a savory Pork Adobo bowl, with a side of Filipino Alchara (cole slaw), and Hawian Mac-salad and it was delicious. I had a nice conversation with the owner who proudly told me about their 1.5 years at the French Market (his location), successes at catering events and their plans to hopefully expand. He also told me about some of the home-made spicy vinegars (see photo) for hot-sauce lovers like me :)”

“Roland had me FED! I got the kalua pork bowl, the veggie lumpia, and the longanisa musubi with the Hawaiian Mac salad. I believe he also threw in the kimchi dumpling special for me which was super nice and so good. Get down to the Chicago French Market for real - it’s so important to support the family owned business here and enjoy amazing food.”

“Ordered some lunch online to try out Panlasa and it was so incredible! Fantastic portions, lumpia, both adobos, Huli Huli chicken, and kalua pork, mac salad were all so good. Can’t wait to come back and try the Longanisa.”

“We've been in Chicago for a few days and this was surprisingly the best meal we have had so far! Really tasty Hawaiian and Filipino food, the meat was soft and tender. It was very authentic and so delicious that we were really surprised to find this quality of food in a food market!”

“Honestly wasn’t expecting a lot since it’s just a small place in French Court with limited options. But we tried 3 dishes, and sides. LOVE ALL OF THEM! It satisfied my cravings during the time. Had two cups of rice. Pork Adobo, Lumpia is my favorite and Longganisa. I’d come back if I’m in the area.”
