Been seeing a lot of videos on TikTok about this place so I’ve been wanting to try it.
I was told if I wanted to try authentic home-style Filipino food, Ruby's would be the spot.
The good: Starting off with the good. Great ambiance, great new location. Great vibe.

“Jonas was extremely friendly and upsold desserts and other treats (see roasted peanuts) to-go, since the food was too much to eat in one sitting, imo”
“We had an amazing first time dining here.”
We had an amazing first time dining here. Had the sisig with an option of additional quarter of bangus, canton&bihon combination and, grilled liempo. Oh with “unlimited rice”! Everything was delicious and generous portion. Friendly and hospitable server too😊 Just a little tricky with finding a parking spot.

Sarapppp, one of my favorite bites in the city. Came around 7pm on a Friday, service was great and food came out fast and SUPER fresh. Everything tastes so homey and the flavors are incredible, great portion sizes too. Amazing value overall. You can taste the love in everything you order. I want to bring everyone I know here!

“I lived in the Philippines for 9 years and love authentic home-cooking.”
I lived in the Philippines for 9 years and love authentic home-cooking. This was my first time trying Ruby’s, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Kare-kare (oxtail and vegetable stew). It’s my favorite dish, and they nailed it! Service was also attentive and sweet from Sam. This place is a bit hard for me to get to, but I will definitely be going back!

“We ran into this place randomly and it was so gooood.”
We ran into this place randomly and it was so gooood! It was a cozy place with warm and friendly service. And the food portion was huge! We really loved the crispy pata with garlic rice. It was freshly made and can literally feed 4 people. It was super tasty and crispy and savory with the dipping sauce. Will come back to try other dishes with more friends lol

“I am so happy I visited Ruby’s.”
I am so happy I visited Ruby’s. We ordered pancit, sinigang with fish, chicken adobo and of course lumpia. This was all for two people so we definitely had plenty of leftovers. All of their food was delicious. You have to try the melon juice! It was so fresh. I wish I would have bought some to take home. The place is small but clean and staff is friendly. They make you feel like you are right at home. If you want authentic Filipino food, this is the place to go. The portions are generous. Can’t wait to go back!

“Did the bangsilog and the kare kare, absolutely delicious.”
Did the bangsilog and the kare kare, absolutely delicious. The milk fish in the bangsilog is crispy with that hit of vinegar and garlic rice. Egg perfectly fried. Small blip- there was an egg shell, but I was able to catch it before eating. Karekare is the national dish. Oxtails in a creamy peanut sauce with hearty veggies. It’s mild on the salt, so you have to ask for the shrimp paste. Soooo good and perfect for a cold day. Don’t expect to do anything afterwards though. You’ll be in a foodcoma :)

“I walked in not really knowing what to expect but a YouTube food critic said it was good.”
I walked in not really knowing what to expect but a YouTube food critic said it was good. Atmosphere is chill, almost like a coffee shop. My server Sam guided me through the menu and chose a great option for me. The food is rich and packed with flavor. The sausage was the star of the show. Apparently they have a hot bar on the other side. Gotta check it out soon. See ya next time Sam.
