“Highly recommend stopping here for your bakery fix. Definitely feels authentic, not touristy. And the cakes and egg tarts were absolutely delicious. Reminded me of Hong Kong.”

“Every year we stop here to pick up chocolate chip and almond cookies to munch on while enjoying the lunar new year parade! Cream horns are awesome too!!”

“Dropped in because this place provides the pastries for Jungle Jim's in the Cincinnati area. Really cool and inexpensive shop. Lot of locals shop here it appears. I really enjoyed my lotus cake pastry! Lots of great options.”

“I really liked this little bakery spot. The lady working the counter was extremely nice and easygoing. I bought 4 pastries and 2 drinks, totally price 15$. The pastries were awesome, I loved them. I would return.”

“Came across this place over 20 years ago and still have to come to it every time we venture to Chicago. The moon pies NEVER disappoint. Very tiny front counter space and cash only sp make sure you take enough money with you to try a variety of the tremendous baked wonders. This place isn't about the looks and all about the flavor! Will always recommend!”

“Delicious baked goods! Fortune cookies are spot on. I also tried their red bean Mochi and so delicious. Really cheap. Not a sit down cafe. No frills atmosphere but if you want delicious baked goods to go at good prices this place is great.”

“This bakery has a great selection of Chinese deserts that you'll find commonly in Chinatown.”

“This bakery has a great selection of Chinese deserts that you'll find commonly in Chinatown. The prices are reasonable and everything we had was great. We tried the sticky rice cakes, the leaf wrapped rice/meat things, and some of the custard pies. They are cash-only, and the prices are very cheap.”

“Non descript storefront and equally no frills counter belying a trove of traditional chinese pastry delight freshly baked. Ordered a couple of sweet buns and flaky filled small bites with lotus and red bean paste and was pleasantly surprised with the soft and flavorful buns and crisp, flaky pastry encasing a generous filling with just about right sweetness and fine texture. Surprisingly inexpensive given each pastry is manually prepared.”
