The chilaquiles with black beans and eggs was so savory and delicious. All the ingredients used had an explosive flavor. I 100% recommend this dish to anyone looking for a savory breakfast. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. They also offer halal meat and chicken for those who eat halal. The sauces used were all homemade and tasted amazing. We both ordered the dolce de Leche iced coffee with oat milk and it was so creamy and smooth. The concha French toast was very airy and very sweet and the fruit used was so fresh. Great place, definitely will come back.

Me and my family were looking for a breakfast place to eat close to us. We picked this placed because of the good reviews and OHHH BOY!!! They did not disappoint. The food was delicious, I ordered the avocado toast, pineapple, cucumber lemonade and ice coconut latte and now I’m obsessed!! Hard to find a good ice coffee especially a coconut one, but this has been the best iced coconut latte I ever had. People there were super friendly, everyone talking to everyone. Adding this place to my favorite breakfast and coffee spots’s list. Don’t miss the opportunity to go for delicious food, coffee, drinks and have a good friendly time.

Cannot recommend it enough. Horchata Latte: The espresso was perfectly extracted and the horchata was not too sweet. Chilaquiles: Pic says it all. Carnitas were very nicely made.

Dulce de Leche Cafe is a small gem in the Edgewater community. It’s a very small space with little seating room, but the food, drinks and service are all top notch. Very friendly staff that are always pleasant. It can take a little time to receive your order, but it is worth the wait.

I love Dulce de leche Cafe! We were visiting Chicago for a friend’s wedding and staying around the corner. Our first morning, we wandered into this spot for breakfast and were blown away! Their food is DELICIOUS (try the chilaquiles with homemade hot sauce!) and the coffee drinks too. Plus Josue who runs the shop is an absolute angel and so fun to talk to. In five days, we visited three times lol. I’ll definitely be back next time I come to visit!

While visiting our daughter at Loyola, we were looking for a great coffee and brunch spot. A high Google rating lured us a little off the beaten path, and we decided to give it a shot. From the outside, the place seemed small and didn't quite match the "vibe" I had in mind. But as soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted by the friendliest person. The cafe was small, but it was incredibly cute and clean. We ordered the chicken chilaquiles with green sauce. I had an iced americano, which was balanced and tasty. My husband tried the dulce de leche latte with oat milk. It was not too sweet, which is always a worry for him. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chilaquiles were perfectly crunchy, soaking up the slightly spicy green sauce. The spice was balanced with the perfect amount of queso fresco and crema, and the chicken was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. We can't recommend this place enough!

Dulce de leche was a 10/10 late brekky/brunch spot for us. Their horchata lattes, omelette, and french toast were so rich in flavor. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great playlist, lighting, seating made for an immaculate start to the day. walking distance from the beach as well.
