Came here for brunch around 10a on a Saturday with a party of four and were seated immediately. Had a pistachio latte which was amazing. Portions were large and quite filling. Service was friendly, waters were refilled regularly, and food came out quickly.

First of all, I don’t know of many places where you can get a hearty, delicious breakfast that is both vegan and gluten free before 10am! No removing or substituting required for the Veritable Vegan Epiphany dish! Also, the people are fabulous. I was greeted and seated immediately by a super friendly person. The wait staff was very attentive. They were knowledgeable about ingredients and came by frequently to top up my coffee. I also appreciated the division of the dining room into different sections and the windows hanging between some seats which added a little privacy without feeling closed in. I truly could not have had a better experience all around.

“Excellent place for breakfast.”

Excellent place for breakfast. All of the food was exceptional. The staff was super friendly. The coffee was hot and the water glass stayed filled. I would def go back. Short way and great seating inside. All of our meals were served hot and tasty. First come first serve.

Great food, and fantastic service! Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. The coffee is to die for!! We ordered the Rhubarb Raspberry French Toast and the Rustic Quiche which were both very delicious. The place is so worth the wait.

“Came with a friend and had a great time.”

Came with a friend and had a great time! We had no reservation and walked in and were promptly seated, however, we did beat the rush and so definitely depends on the time of day and number of people when you come. The food was very good, well-balanced and made us both big boys comfortably full (haha). Our server came over several times to check up on us and refill our waters, and so we never felt thirsty. A great meal that I would recommend for others to come and dine.

We walked in to an absolutely packed foyer, and the service was so fast and friendly, the wait was quicker than told, and the food was excellent. The special bread pudding was such a highlight - light and fluffy with a delicious fruit compote.

m.henry has been part and parcel of Andersonville for over 20 years. The food is amazing,Service is friendly and informative. Hot coffee is ever flowing. The whole experience is seamless. A great team work that results in an awesome experience. Hot cakes are fluffy and French toast made with homemade brioche is yum 😋 I had Pastrami Benedict with perfectly poached eggs.FYI : This place does not take reservations and closes at 2.pm. A must visit place👍👍

Really great local diner in Andersonville. The food was incredible and as someone who doesn’t usually eat an entire brunch plate we licked the plates clean. We got the leek omelette, the Latina omelette and pancake for the table. It used to be BYOB, but now carry alcohol, however they were generous and kind when mentioning that they changed their policy and now charge a corkage.

I've been coming here for 6 years, and M.Henry is by far my favorite brunch spot in Chicago. From the cozy and eclectic atmosphere to the friendly service, and delicious food, this spot is a gem. My favorite order is to split the Latina Omletta and Blackberry Bliss cakes for sweet with another person for sweet and savory. The Bliss cakes are the star of the show and straddle the line between decadent and tart with sweet cream and fresh berry compote layers. The crunchy oats on top add perfect contrast to the creamy, fluffy dish. Latina Omletta is a delightful omelette with crispy potato and plantain.
