Apparently this is their whiskey pour for a woodford neat.
Just throwing it out there, the martini at VIG ($25) with tip is half full always and is probably the worst martini I had in chicago.
NEVER a table here for a sporting event or if you plan to remain seated for more than 90 minutes.

They recently added a girl dinner happy hour and it’s so fun! Caesar salad is a weird with onions and heavily dressed but I know next time to just modify that. Worth it 10/10

The Vig has such a good happy hour. The Sangria is perfect and the burger and fries 10/10. This might be one of the best burgers in Chicago. My only negative comment is the waitress didn’t let me know the bacon upcharge was $5. That kind of defeats the purpose of getting the burger on the happy hour menu.

The team at The Vig went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated for our anniversary dinner. The service quality was incredible and the food arrive to the table super fast. The seared tuna, chicken sandwich (and fries) and the tomato appetizer were delicious. I'm looking forward to going back and visiting the other location in the city. Highly recommend!

We celebrated our half marathon here and the food was amazing. I had the breakfast burger. Service by Christina with a big and crazy party was great, she was patient, accommodating and knowledgeable on the menu

Disclaimer: I have noise sensitivity so I avoid loud places. So when I walked into The Vig, I immediately said, No ma’am. My guest was already seated so when I got to the table I apologized for picked a restaurant that was lit and started looking for a new place. But God! I would’ve been so mad if I would have missed out on that turkey burger, sweet potato fries and warm carrot cake! WHAT!! The burger, which was topped with bacon and fried egg, was seasoned perfectly. We ate the WHOLE sandwich. And I normally take pics of the food but I was so preoccupied with my goal of eating and running that I never imagined the food would be so damn delicious but a picture wouldn’t do it justice anyway. Oh and the fries, I don’t know what kinda magic is in the dipping sauce but we asked for a second so we could both shamelessly double-dip! The carrot cake is huge and comes out warm. You’ve been warned. Will I return? I don’t really have a choice now do I??! UPDATE: I received a lovely email from Samantha at The Vig to let me know that the music is not so intense during the week and during brunch. 🥹 This is the representative of the customer service we experienced during our visit.🥰 Thank you, Samantha!
