We were fortunate enough to happen by this fabulous taco truck yesterday. After talking with the super nice owner, Veronica, she let us sample the various meats and we eventually ordered a big sack of tacos. We loved every one of them! The steak tacos were incredible, followed closely by the pulled beef tacos. While the lightly seasoned chicken tacos were amazing! The food was excellent, nothing fancy or overdone here, just simple, uncomplicated high quality tacos! We will definitely be back for more. Very highly recommended! Tom Feddor, Chicago, IL.

“Mannnn, this taco was bomb.”

Mannnn, this taco was bomb. It was big, too. They weren't stingy. And the salsa! It was flavorful and hot. The women at the truck were also very nice. I'm on the North Side by the lake, so I'll probably never taste that taco again. But I had to say it was great.

“La Calaca food truck came to my apartment complex in Naperville.”

La Calaca food truck came to my apartment complex in Naperville. It had been a while since i've had great tacos and didn't expect much when my husband suggested we go try some tacos. Their tacos were so good that almost a month later I still check my emails from our complex because I wait for the day they come back so I can get more tacos. I had the asada tacos(of course), & the salsas were soooo good. Both the green and the red were delicious! The meat was well seasoned as were the salsas. Great tacos, quick turnaround, worth the price. Ill have to try other items once they decide to make their way back to Naperville. Until then, ill be checking my emails!

Amazing! I've been living in Mexico City since 2010 and I love tacos. I wasn't expecting to find good tacos here in Chicago and believe me, these ones from La Calaca are very good. Birria with cheese literally blew my mind.

Veronica and the entire La Calaca family are incredible! They catered an engagement party and took care of everything. The food was all made fresh, the service was excellent, and the elote was to die for! I'd highly recommend using them for any personal or work event you have coming up, or just for lunch/dinner if you see them on the street!
