“Fun experience, creative, savory bites, later night availability, lively atmosphere. We’d definitely go back!”

“If you’re looking for a place that puts zero effort into its curb appeal, Table, Donkey and Stick is a masterclass in being unassuming. The entrance and dining room are so low-key you might wonder if you’ve walked into the wrong building, which is quite the flex given its actual gastronomical standing. It’s a refreshing change of pace for Logan Square—basically, they spend more time on the pork than the light fixtures. You’re legally obligated to start with the cheese and charcuterie; the Buenalba was a solid choice that didn't disappoint. While you’re at it, do not miss out on the potato latkes, and if you’re one of those "beet people," the Beets and Oranges salad will certainly satisfy your questionable cravings. We tried the pea risotto, which was perfectly tasty, though my heart was secretly pining for the mushroom version. However, the undisputed heavyweight champion of the evening was the Pork Schnitzel. It’s a massive portion that somehow remains tender and flavorful—it’s the kind of dish that makes you forget about the rest of the menu. The drink situation is equally interesting. The "Boot Cut" had some aggressive winter hints that I wasn’t entirely emotionally prepared for, though it was still very drinkable. As for the "Fancy Old Fashioned"—it was definitely "fancy" if you’re judging by the price jump—but it was well-executed and I have no complaints other than the dent in my wallet. If you have any dignity or stomach capacity left, the sticky toffee pudding is a very good way to admit defeat.”

“Love this spot! This Alpine-inspired menu is always changing and we have never had a bad item here. Highly recommend their charcuterie board, croquettes, latkes, and anything fish. Hard to go wrong here. Tonight, we ordered the Beets and Oranges and the Smoked Trout and Pea Profiteroles. Both amazing!”

“Came for restaurant week dinner. Besides the steak skewers being too dry everything else was delicious. The brussel sprouts was a stand out.”

“Awesome space and staff, unique and perfect spot in the city.”

“This was a great time during resturant week. Every meal a pleasant surprise. Every bite another adventure. It was a great time.”

“Every single dish we had was phenomenal! Nothing crazy but everything was right on point. 👍🏻”

“My husband brought me here and what a wonderful experience! The dishes were made with high-quality, fresh ingredients, and the flavors were truly exceptional. I especially loved the small plates — beautifully presented and amazing quality for the price. I ordered the schnitzel and WOW! One of the best I’ve had in the States since visiting Europe. The sauce and side salad really elevate the dish, definitely their signature touch. Amazing desserts. I do not think this place is expensive at all. It was a little cold inside, but overall the ambiance was lovely, and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend!”

“Such an awesome find! Bf and I randomly decided to go here when we were in the area and wowza! Love that they have a seasonal menu and they had a good array of vegetarian options which made me so happy! Bf got the schnitzel, I got the zucchini risotto. We both loved our dishes and we also split a cheese and the chickpea eggplant dip - 10/10. Will be back and highly recommend you go!”
