Freaking amazing everything when it comes to fast food! Shrimp, Polish, sausage, cheeseburgers and especially the fresh cut fries. It's all good here and very reasonable prices with fast service. I keep coming back again and again and recommending others to do the same!

What a gem!! Absolutely amazing. The burgers are on point at RHR! the price is unbeatable $7 for a double cheese burger with everything on it and fresh cut fries. You really can't bet that anywhere in Chicago! Their burgers NEVER disappoints. Always juicy with a little crunch on the ends and their homemade sauce brings the taste right home. I always order the double cheese burger with everything on it. Always cooked perfectly to order fresh never frozen patty's and fresh cut fries. Definitely don't sleep on the tail less fried shrimp with there homemade hot sauce and the Chicago style hotdogs are amazing. My second favorite shrimp after goose island shrimp. RHR is definitely a Chicago staple! 100% recommend!

I’ve been having a major cheese fry craving lately so I decided to stop by Redhot’s to satisfy my taste buds. I ordered some cheddar fries and they were slamming, I wish I bought two. My gf got the double cheese burger and she loved it! One thing to keep in mind is that they are cash only but the prices are super reasonable and well worth it. I can’t wait to come to back, because there’s nothing like supporting local businesses with great food.

Cash only spot serving up great burgers, hot dogs, and fries! This is definitely a no-frills type of place but is a great spot to get a quick bite to eat. Many people ordered the fried shrimp as well. They have a simple menu of classics. The fries are fresh cut and you can tell! Don’t forget to order some mild sauce! If you choose to sit on the patio, they offer earplugs because of the train noise.

It’s a neighborhood joint so the atmosphere is CASH ONLY, NO FRILLS & FAST SERVICE! We went on a Friday night around 10pm…they had a constant flow of patrons, so that’s a good sign. They are located near train tracks and they offer earplugs for their patio. CASH ONLY!! We ordered the fried shrimp. Not a place you’d think to go for fried shrimp but they were large, meaty & filling. They come a la carte so you’ll have to order fries as well. No meal deals here. CASH ONLY! They do have an ATM ($2 fee) inside the restaurant. All in all, I’ll be back to try the burger & fish sandwich!

Redhot Ranch wins based on value. It is just too good for the quality and quantity of food you're getting for the money. I got the RHR double cheeseburger and a hotdog. All meals come with fries which means I got double fries. So much delicious food for under $15. And the smashburgers they have here are some of the best burgers in all of Chicago despite being under $10. It's not all sunshines and rainbows though. There is practically no service here since it's like a fast-food place. They are cash only which can be annoying because I don't carry around a lot of cash. And if you decide to eat outside, you might want to get earplugs because it's right under the train tracks so it gets VERY LOUD. But despite all these problems, the food is just too good to pass on. Besides, some of these factors give RHR its charm. There's just something about eating a greasy burger under grimy traintracks hearing the roar of the train go by as everything shakes under you. I will absolutely be coming back again.

I finally tried it for the first time so I ordered a variety to try. Food: I had the RHR Cheeseburger and Fries and a half lb Shrimp. The burger was good and THAT SHRIMP!? It was so good!! I don’t know what kind of batter is used but whatever is it doesn’t need to change. I got the cheese sauce on the side for the fries and that was good. The mild sauce was good as well. Drinks: N/A Service: The employees were cool. Nothing to complain about. They greeted me and were working. That is alright with me because my order was ready quickly! Atmosphere: It was chill. I believe there’s a patio outside and earplugs are provided for train noise. I would return and I do recommend it. Note: It is CASH ONLY. I know in 2025 that can be annoying but paying less than $10 TODAY for a burger and fries today is just fine with me! There is an ATM inside.

Came for a Chicago dog, depression style, got that and a burger. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fries were amazing as well. The staff was friendly and fast. The establishment was clean and tidy. It's a must if you're going to the music hall for a concert.
