DMen Tap
DMen Tap — one of Avondale's strongest vegan spots. The atmosphere is half the draw here, and solid veggie options. Evelyn Paredes: "Chicken was juicy, greens were fresh, the sauces were perfect" [$]

“love this chicago bar. would definitely recommend for all age groups and diverse backgrounds.”

“First time here. Love that it was a very relaxed bar. The food was awesome and the drink selection covered everything. My husband is a fan of Mead and was glad to see it on the menu. I'm a love of IPA and very glad the bartender suggested the Ninja vs Unicorn DIPA. That Hummus was delicious and a great change from normal bar food. It was great to see people out enjoying a good game of Magic and hanging out. Definitely will go back and stay a little longer.”

“Friendly service, fun vibes, good menu with their own spin on traditional pub-fare. Lots of vegan options.”

“Aw the delicious smell of curry that wafts as you open the door - yum. Small, eclectic packed to the walls bar. Music and arcade games in the back. If Avondale was my neighborhood, this is where I would spend my evenings. Did I mention that Smoky and the Bandit was on the tv. It’s a whole vibe.”

“Def my fav bar in the city. The BEST food, but then they also have amazing vibes, decor, and GAMES? Just check it out already. :)”

“Nice bar with nice snacks till late and an interesting theme inside 🍻”

“The bartenders are sometimes drunk and mess your order up I want to support this place so much and have been coming here for years but they fell off. I ordered a hamms and kabanes special but bartender gal gave me a hamms and an empty shot glass. I waited until she came back to touch anything and asked for the shot and she said "another kabanes?" and I said "no, the one I ordered." Anyway she charged me twice of course, but whatever it's $6 I'm not going to cause a scene. The food was pretty mid and expensive compared to its opening days. I would say go across the street to kumas but they suck even worse! At least you get value there tho :/”
“Easily my favorite bar that also happens to have vegan food. The curry fries and doner seitan were awesome.”
“The most welcoming and chill bar. Will definitely need to frequent here more often. Shoutout to Taylor for the awesome service!”
