“I still noticed there’s not a lot of places to charge your phone or outlets, which is disappointing considering the amount of people that go in and out of this train station daily weekly and another weekends, which could be up to millions”
The vending machine for the tickets its easy to use, thanks to this station I could get a one Day pass ticket to Winnetka and pay a visit to Home Alone's House.
For me the best thing I can take my bike and cycling around downtown. Station itself is good.
Clean, efficient central train hub with a variety of food options.
Navigating Ogilvie Transportation Center is a breeze. Signage is clear, purchasing tickets via the Ventra app is easy.
On cold days they block the exit doors on the lower level creating a nightmare for commuters and a FIRE HAZARD.

Boy!! Has Ogilvie changed! I remember taking the metro to come into the city and go back out to the suburbs 10+ years ago and it has really changed a lot for the better!! The food court has some cool options like Polish Colombian food and cheesecake options and now a very cool looking thing Starbucks AND soul food options! ❤️ to see this!! Apparently, the third or second floor is Accenture based now and there’s a Pret-A-Manger section where people can just grab sit and go and everything is pre-prepared!! there’s also a Amazon go for the same exact reason and these are all new features in the last 10 years. Jamba Juice, Corner Bakery and Dunkin’ Donuts have all staples.. There’s still a warming station upstairs on the third floor next to the trains. I still noticed there’s not a lot of places to charge your phone or outlets, which is disappointing considering the amount of people that go in and out of this train station daily weekly and another weekends, which could be up to millions.. This is one of the biggest places in Chicago for people to come in and out of. I’m all over the suburbs north west south all traveling to death destination, whether there be Michigan Wisconsin, the western suburbs, the southern suburbs or the Northwest. There are 10 train lines that run every hour on the hour depending on whether or not it’s weekdays or weekends and it’s a hub for Chicagoland’s alike!!

“Seemed confusing initially but actually it was very easy to navigate.”
Seemed confusing initially but actually it was very easy to navigate. They have departure boards for showing you which track you needed to be at to find your train heading to your destination. They also have various shops and public restrooms. Close to many other attractions within walking distance.

“Very clean here, which is always nice to see.”
Very clean here, which is always nice to see. It is also extremely accommodating for a train station, with a food court and several other convenience stores. Another nice thing to see is that the place is really easy to navigate as well. There is clear signage on where the trains are and where to exit the building. I personally would find it very hard to get lost here.

“I like arriving in Ogilvie, usually hungry, to varied food options at their bountiful food court.”
I like arriving in Ogilvie, usually hungry, to varied food options at their bountiful food court. As far as train stations go, Ogilvie is one of the better kept in Chicago. Bathrooms could be a little cleaner, but based on the foot traffic they see, it's nothing too atrocious.

“I have explored this place top to bottom.”
I have explored this place top to bottom. On the first floor you have access to your metra trains. On the ground floor there are many eatery: 1 Dunkin Donouts (Really good coffee) 2. Yolk (Had one of the best breakfast here) 3 Star Bucks (not that good) 4 Panda Express (I liked the food. Ate only once.) 5 Amazon Go Store This place also has clean toilets too for public use. On the otherside of the building they have CVS, greatclips, a group of restaurants and a french fresh market place. This place is really good to hangout. It’s calm, neat and clean.

Consistent transit schedule, food court with good options, safe, centrally located in Chicago. However, the cleanliness of washrooms is not consistent and sometimes questionable. Grateful for public transportation!!!

Place is clean and the trains are always on time. The is a strong smell on the train platforms though. I think it’s from the train bathrooms.
