“Ecellent Argentinian food. Would highly recommend the Milanesa Napolitana”

“Very delicious food, my soul was happy. 🥰 Loved the atmosphere and the service. Will definitely be coming back to try more food and recommending. Thank you. 🙏”

“La Nonna is incredibly cozy, incredibly affordable, and incredibly delicious. Our table of 2 split the Deluxe Parillada, and every item was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. BYOB. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. If driving, there is non permit parking by the church across the street.”

“Excelente lugar para comer. Trato muy bueno y comida riquisima. Highly recommended.”

“Delicious food! Was there for dinner a family of 4. The drinks were great and the food was delicious. Lots of great flavors. Hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back. BYOB.”

“La Nonna is an absolute gem in Irving Park. We tried a little bit of everything — from the melty, irresistible provoleta and flavorful empanadas (beef, ham & cheese with veggies) to the fresh garden salad with steak and a charcuterie board special. My veggie burger was huge and delicious, perfectly paired with sweet potato fries, while the crispy fried chicken sandwich with freshly cut fries and the breaded lime chicken with vegetables were both hits at the table. The Noona pizza was another standout, and dessert was the perfect ending — rich leche flan and a heavenly dulce de leche crepe. The staff was genuinely friendly, the service warm, and the cozy atmosphere made the meal even better. Truly a neighborhood treasure we can’t wait to revisit.”

“Love the esthetics of this restaurant. My husband found this lovely little restaurant nestled in the middle of this residential neighborhood. We drove around looking for a street parking that didn't require a permit. It's a small cafe that maximizes their space on the inside and some seating outdoors as well. The food was delicious and the music was just loud enough that you could ignore the other conversations in the room. We will definitely be back!”

“A cozy Italian restaurant with homemade dishes reminiscent of grandma's kitchen. Delicious, filling, and full of soul—a great place for a relaxing dinner.”

“Empanada had a nice crust with a good filling. The sauce given on the side with the empanada was great. The milanese sandwich was a letdown, lacking flavor to the point that I was adding pepper and taking the sauce that came with the empanada to make it taste of something. Also, the fries just being boring McDonalds fries and ketchup just being in packets (no additional sauce came with the dish) is really dissatisfactory considering the price point.”
