Cage Iguana always been a favorite place of mine for great coffee and freedom to catch up on a little reading and work. Yanni delivers without exception serving my double espresso with a splash of milk!

It’s so good! A proper European place with a big, diverse menu. I wanted to try everything but went for the savory crepe this time, since it’s not something you often find in restaurants around here — and it was delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back to try the pizza and sandwiches. For a West Loop lunch spot, this place is a true gem. And the coffee is great, too!

Best crepe in Chicago. Julius Meinl coffee here. Everything in the menu is very good and delicious. I love to come here either by myself or with family or friends. Salmon salad, beet salad, baked carbonara, every pasta dishes, panini, baked lobster mac cheese, strawberry banana crepe, espresso martini, liqueur coffee, cappuccino, ….. 👍 Update: Happy Hour is 4-7pm and I try a lobster McCheese. Let me say that I would give today chief a big 💋 for this dish. The ingredients is fresh and the combination is just perfect. Serve hot and top with baked breadcrumbs crust, cheese is delicious (I’m not a big fan of cheese, but this is so good) combined with a generous big chunk of soft juicy sweet lobster that melting in the mouth. All is in contrast with a glass of Malbec. I’m forgot I’m eating or doing. I highly recommend this dish any chance and will return for more. 💗

El ambiente es muy tranquilo y tenue. Las vibras mediterraneas son perfectas para un domingo o después del trabajo. Recomiendo probar su café.

This was a good spot! We will definitely be back. The location is great and the ambience is really unique. It was super relaxed which is just what we were looking for, and the menu had a wide variety of options, from soups and salads to pastas and crepes. The food isn’t life changing, but it’s good! Excited to try the pasta next time.

Our visit was quiet and cozy, had a small bite and enjoyable conversation. The sandwich and pita slices were toasted well and aromatic. The beveage selections were vast and appreciate the wine and cocktail options. From coffee bar to late night, Iguana Cafe is a vicarious travel experience!

I stopped by for a late‑afternoon lunch and was hit with the perfect combo of crispy rosemary chicken and a creamy wild‑rice sauce that kept me coming back for seconds. The staff were quick to recommend a house‑made salad that paired beautifully, and the bar had an impressive selection of craft cocktails. The cozy, low‑key vibe made it easy to chat with friends over a glass of wine without feeling rushed or crowded.
