Carnival is not just dinner.... it’s a full-on experience!! Walking in feels like stepping into another world. The lights, the music, the energy — everything is vibrant, bold, and alive. This is the kind of place where the night instantly feels exciting before you even sit down. The food is just as fun as the atmosphere. Colorful, creative, and packed with flavor, every dish feels like part of the show. Even on a lighter visit, everything we tried was memorable and beautifully done. And the drinks? Unreal. Playful, dramatic, and absolutely part of the experience (cotton candy cocktails included). What really sets Carnival apart is the vibe — it’s loud in the best way, social, celebratory, and perfect for date night, group dinners, or any night you want to feel like you’re out out. It’s not a quiet meal — it’s a party, and that’s exactly the point. If you’re looking for a restaurant that’s immersive, energetic, and genuinely fun, Carnival Chicago delivers. One of the most entertaining dining experiences I’ve had in the city!!

There was a mix up with our reservation while we were celebrating my father’s milestone bday. What could have been an unpleasant evening was turned around by Cody, the director of operations. His grace under pressure and superior customer service ensured we had everything we needed to celebrate my father. Oscar, our server really made the evening a great success. My father enjoyed his bday and our family created a special memory. Highly recommend this place for their service and the food was delish!

Visited Carnivale for the first time on December fifth and it was amazing. The vibes are abundantly joyful and the staff is customer service oriented. The food was delicious and the drinks were savory and crisp. I came to Chicago from Washington and with visiting this place and experiencing the treasures of Carnivale it has already been worth the travel. Chicago was such a beautiful place and Carnivale should definitely be on your bucket list as one of the experiences there.

FIIIIIIIRE... Great atmosphere and the food was sooooo good. I Had the short rib andashed potatoes 10/10. The guac amd chips was really good as was the coconut shrimp. Try the carnivale old fashioned.

“Great food and great vibe.”
Great food and great vibe! Went for a birthday and we had a blast. We even got to dance with the Carnivale dancers. Added bonus to the delicious food was the option of delightful mocktails they called NO-jito. Overall great experience. Paired the vegan paella with salmon and it was perfect!

I has not eaten at Carnivale in many years. The food was great. We ordered from the Taste of 🇨🇺 Cuba menu. It was Friday so we there was a live Samba performance.

Awesome place. So fun, colorful, and exciting coming here. Everything here is great, we got 2 different appetizers and 3 different entrees and there were 0 issues and everyone wants to come back! Our server was super helpful when we didn't know an ingredient. Would definitely recommend anyone to come. Highly recommend the yucca fries, they are soooo good and soooo garlicky!
