I've ordered from bagelero a couple times, and am a big fan of their breakfast burrito and breakfast tacos.
Very nice fluffy bagels and fast counter service. The BEC could cure many a hangover.

I ordered El Machismo on an onion bagel and ate it on the spot. As you can see, it was steaming hot but it was very good.

I expected more from this place.
Bagels are decent.a lil chewy. BY noon they were out of a lot of stuff and spreads.
We live so close by and were really hoping for this place to be a hit.

Turkey and cheese on Everything bagel El machismo on jalapeño chedder Off the bat, I wish I found this place sooner instead of the last day of my trip. Felipe & his crew, run an amazing kitchen. We sat in for breakfast, he was extremely kind and had a good chat. Bagels made the New york way, iykyk! Would recommend a stop, especially since he's right off the Blue line western stop

I ordered El Machismo on an onion bagel and ate it on the spot. As you can see, it was steaming hot but it was very good. However, I did find hair on the pickled jalapeño. I normally don’t care that much so I just took it out and finished it. Stuffed, hot, and vibes are good.

LOVE the bagels here. Pleaseeee try their BEC with cream cheese. Their staff is sooooo friendly and the vibes are amazing! Hope they continue to do amazing. P.S their horchata donas are 10/10

Stumbled upon this place looking for breakfast and my friends and I are so glad we did. We’ve been looking for good food in Chicago and this satisfied our craving!! The carnitas breakfast bagel was my favorite in particular since the carnitas were so flavorful and crunchy yet tender. The chorizo bagel was also super yummy! Definitely will be coming back!

Fast casual counter service spot with delicious bagels! I was also super impressed by the iced coffee. I got the BEC on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was delicious with lots of bacon. The bagel was toasted on the flat top so crispy and buttery inside. I will definitely be back, this is a great addition to the neighborhood!

This place has pushed its way to the top of my favorite local breakfast spots! We really needed a good bagel place, and El Bagelero is it. 🔥 The bagel sandwiches are great! But the real best menu item is the breakfast burrito—perfect for splitting between two people (because it's wrapped in two halves!). Everybody is really friendly, and the food comes fast. Great ambience too!

“I was blown away by the quality of the bagels.”
I was blown away by the quality of the bagels! I'm picky about my bagels and these were in all honesty better than the ones I've had in New York. Baked fresh with a crispy exterior and soft interior. Was sad to see little Lazos go, but overall I think this is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. Bucktowns been desperate for a bagel shop!

We are so excited to have a new yummy sandwich shop in the neighborhood! Friendly staff and delicious sandwiches! I tried the steak and egg on an Asiago bagel with chipotle mayo and my husband got the El Machismo on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and both were excellent! We can’t wait to go back and try more!

Their Breakfast Burritos are delicious! I love the pico creama. Even in the cold, they were wrapped up to perfectly insulate everything and were just as wonderfully textured and yummy when I got home. Their Breakfast bagels are also really good!

Had a chorizo bagel sandwich and my husband had the bacon egg and cheese and they both were absolutely fantastic. We will be back immediately. It is very tight inside for space with just one table so prepare to wait outside and eat elsewhere!
