Daisies — honest food in Logan Square, where the Pasta is worth ordering. Good energy here, especially on weekends. Good cocktails round out an already strong menu. Jesse Palma: "As for the sides, the breakfast potatoes were perfectly seasoned and crispy and easily the best side"

“Our waitress was friendly and was knowledgeable about the menu and timed each course perfectly, we never felt rushed or that we were waiting around for the next items”
We recently celebrated an early holiday dinner at Daisies.
I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but my first visit to Daisies was frustrating enough to make an exception.

“Excellent service, great drinks and food.”
Excellent service, great drinks and food. We liked the pastas and salad, weren't fans of the port, they should replace it with a tender beef dish

“God the food they serve at this restaurant is divine.”
God the food they serve at this restaurant is divine. Brunch on Sunday’s is underrated! I don’t think they have ever made a bad dish. Highlights: onion dip, scrambled egg bruschetta, agnolotti, whitefish sandwich, and rainbow trout 😋🤤🤤 the matcha and mint iced tea are also favorites!

“i’ve heard so many good things about this place and the food does not disappoint.”
i’ve heard so many good things about this place and the food does not disappoint. we especially loved the pierogis and prawns. our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive to details. i will note that we mentioned we didn’t have any time constraints and ended up dining for 2 hours. our prawns didn’t arrive until over an hour after we ordered. not sure if that was how long the prawns needed to cook or if it was intentional to space out our meal, but we felt like it could’ve came out sooner. we witnessed other tables arriving after us who left before us. that would be our only complaint, but overall, we did enjoy the food. i like that the menu regularly rotates seasonal items so i’m looking forward to coming back to try new dishes

“Absolutely no notes.”
Absolutely no notes. We got sat at the bar, which was packed, as the restaurant as a whole was extremely busy. I was initially put off by how crowded the bar was, but Zandon the bartender was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The entire meal was executed to perfection, and to say the service was above and beyond is doing them a disservice. Incredible experience from the top down. Can't wait to come back!!!

Pasta haven! The beet agnolotti with ricotta and roe packed with flavor sweet from beets, sour from lemon, salt from trout, it was unbelievable good. There are so many great positions on the menu, we have to come more often. If you come during brunch you can try their pastry, which is a knock out. The service is smooth and very friendly

This was our first time here, and we really liked the food! Everything was delicious. Our server, Tye, was very attentive and super sweet; we really appreciated his service. The pasta was amazing, especially the beetroot agnolotti (I might be saying it wrong, but it was so good!). And the French toast was incredible too. We’ll definitely be back!😋

An extensive happy hour that met my high expectations given the accolades of Daisies! $7 cocktails is practically unbeatable, especially for one that are handcrafted to order. I was surprise by the extensive selection of food and drink - would definitely recommend

“Wow the food here is amazing.”
Wow the food here is amazing! I was skeptical about some of the combinations (e.g. mussels and pierogies) but they all seem to work. The pierogies don’t come with a cream, but it would’ve been a good idea to save the French onion dip from the chips for that… could’ve been a game changer. The overpriced tomato was the only thing where I was like… maybe wouldn’t get again. It could’ve used a little dash of some really big flaky salt to bring it up a notch.

I live out of town but found this restaurant 3 years ago because of the veggie forward homemade pastas. I’m visiting Chicago and finally had a chance to check it out - the wait was worth it! I had the beet agnilotti and it was so yummy and really filling, sometimes stuffed pastas at restaurants feel like you get 5 bites. The bartenders were super nice and friendly and helped me navigate the wine menu and pointed out natural wines. I don’t usually have dessert wine but tried one tonight which was yummy with the apple cake.

“We had lunch here yesterday and came back for breakfast today.”
We had lunch here yesterday and came back for breakfast today. OH MY WORD! EVERYTHING was delicious! For lunch, we shared the homemade chips with onion dip and the white bean salad. I've never had such crispy and delicious chips. The salad was also divine. The lemonade was the perfect match with the food. This morning, we tried the ham and cheese croissant and the kouign amann (queen aman) with a latte. Oh so incredibly good. So good that I had to go back and try the triple chocolate croissant. I had intended to share it but ended up eating the entire thing myself!😅 You have to order and collect your drinks/food yourself at the counter. We also had to bus the table ourselves yesterday because they were short-staffed. Didn't mind at all, but that is what got 4 stars instead of 5. One doesn't feel rushed at all, and they have plugs for your laptop and chargers. The staff that we encountered were patient and hospitable. Looks like the perfect place to get some work done while enjoying incredible food. Cannot wait to visit again next time I'm in Chicago!

“First of all, I would like to thank our high energy server Karlita for outstanding service (and even entertainment!).”
First of all, I would like to thank our high energy server Karlita for outstanding service (and even entertainment!). She knew what to recommend for our first time at Daisies. For the starter my friend and I shared THE Overpriced Tomato. Very fresh and tasty. The bone marrow on the toast it was served on will make you want to order another one. For the entree, I chose from their Protein section of the menu. I ordered the Rainbow Trout. Served with an olive oil and almonds on top. The oil did become a little much for me, however not a huge issue just wanted to note that. The flavor is indescribable in the best way… great combination with the almonds. I paired my entree with their Monte Rio Orange wine. If you like a wine on the sweet side and looking for something different try this! After finishing the entree and wine, my friend and I ordered the Domestic Amaro Flight. More on the bitter side, but worth experiencing. Thank you to the front staff, the hostess with the mostest, and the bar back Frank for being prompt with everything. I’d love to come back!
