Bar Tutto brings handmade Italian cooking to Fulton Market in a warm, modern space that feels lively yet intimate—ideal for date nights, family dinners, or sharing plates with friends. Standouts include the guanciale rigatoni, sausage-and-mushroom crostini, pre-dressed oysters, fava bean toast, and fries with smoked garlic aioli, while the loose-leaf tea and pastries shine earlier in the day. Portions can be small, and service or waits may be inconsistent.

Bar Tutto absolutely lived up to my expectations. The restaurant is beautiful, with a modern, warm atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. What stood out even more than the décor, though, was the service. Every member of the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, and our server, Rene O., was exceptional. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, took my pine nut allergy seriously, and made the entire experience feel effortless. I ordered the rigatoni, which was rich, decadent, and incredibly satisfying. I also sampled a bite of my friend’s steak, and it was outstanding. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals, with several people saying the pesto pasta was the highlight of the evening. From the attentive service to the excellent food, Bar Tutto delivered a wonderful dining experience. I would happily return!

I wanted to take a moment to leave a review for Bar Tutto From the moment I walked in until the time I left, Allison and her entire team were outstanding. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. They offered great menu suggestions, created a wonderful atmosphere, and truly made me feel like a valued guest. I had the pleasure of trying several dishes, and everything was exceptional. The new cucumber salad was fresh and absolutely phenomenal. I also enjoyed the spaghetti with lobster, the rigatoni, the burger, the prawns, and the fresh lemonade. Every dish reflected the restaurant’s commitment to fresh, farm-to-table ingredients and quality preparation. I couldn’t leave without trying dessert. The carrot cake and panna cotta were all fantastic and the perfect way to end the meal. During my stay in Chicago from California, I enjoyed Bar Tutto so much that I visited twice. That’s a testament to the incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Allison, and your entire team, for providing such a memorable dining experience. Please keep doing what you’re doing—don’t change a thing and never cut corners. Your dedication to quality and hospitality truly shows. I look forward to visiting again the next time I’m in Chicago. Thank you again for an amazing experience!

We went here for dinner and it was absolutely delicious! The sausage and mushroom crostini was unreal, all the food tasted really fresh, and the service was really quick. It’s a bit of a casual atmosphere, gets really loud, and the serving sizes aren’t huge but it is perfect for a casual but delicious date night or a family dinner. It was also very reasonable prices.

We had dinner at Bar Tutto and loved every moment! The service was wonderful (ask for Ari!), the ambiance was beautiful and THE FOOD. Soo good! We ordered the Anchovy Crostino, Antipasti Salad, Radiatore, Rigatoni, Black Cod and Panna Cotta for dessert. I was nervous this was too much food for two people but the dishes came out at the perfect pace and were a shareable size - we left with no left overs! Every dish was delicious with my personal favorite being the Rigatoni. I highly recommend and can’t wait to come back for their Breakfast and Lunch.

TLDR; If you want an actual elevated tea experience, run to Bar Tutto. I could go on about the brunch or the lunch or the dinner, or the vibes at the bar, but I’m going to focus on one thing: the tea and pastries. 1. Not all matchas are created equal. Bar Tutto does not cut corners in the quality or the technique. It is always bright and smooth. 2. Tea. Someone who is a tea drinker was consulted here, and it really shows. The teas are all loose leaf, and they actually time the brew so it comes out lovely every time. If you drink it at the cafe, they bring a lovely pot, cup, and saucer. Class! 4. Pastries pastries pastries. Bar Tutto’s treats are not just pretty in the glass case, they taste like sugar and spice and everything nice (butter). They’re well executed, classic, and delectable without being fussy in the least. Do NOT sleep on the sweets and DO leave room for dessert. Finally, bonus for my Iced coffee/tea gang: when you order iced drinks “for here” you get a real glass cup. It’s just so much better that way.

Spectacular new Italian joint in the west loop (and off the beaten path which we appreciate). Everything is homemade and you can taste it. Both pasta dishes were stellar(I especially enjoyed the guancialle rigatoni), the fava bean toast was surprisingly delicious and the fries were the surprise of the evening. They come with this beautiful smoked garlic aioli. Eddy, the manager was great and treated us to delicious carrot cake and toffee cheesecake.

I came with high expectations for this place, but unfortunately the food was just okay. The restaurant is also very loud, which made the experience less enjoyable overall. Service was fine, nothing particularly memorable. We tried seven dishes: the fava crostini, mushroom crostini, bucatini, rigatoni, steak, carrot salad and prawns. Out of everything we ordered, the prawns and rigatoni were the standout dishes. The rest felt underwhelming and not very memorable. Prices are reasonable compared to other Italian restaurants in the city, but if you’re mainly going for exceptional food, there are better options elsewhere.

Our experience was perfection from start to finish. Shalomar, our server, was exactly what you want… attentive but not overbearing, warm and knowledgeable and fun. The food was flavorful and well thought out. The drinks were divine! The atmosphere was intimate and welcoming yet lively and upbeat.
