“The staff were kind enough to accommodate me last minute as a party of 1 while I was on business in Chicago. Margot my server made the evening exceptional by explaining the various menu items and taking the time to explain to me what was worth trying and why. Can’t wait to bring my wife here the next time I’m in Chicago - the appetizer and deserts were mind blowingly exceptional! 🙏”

“Warm vibes, tasty creative dishes & beverages, and friendly staff. The elderflower & bitter-orange saison was a perfect beverage on a hot day.”

“Delicious modern French food. Highly recommend the oeufs mayonnaise, the leeks with dill, chicken, french fries, crepe, gnocchi with gruyere and ham, and strawberry meringue dessert. Great place to share dishes to get lots of flavors!”

“We were here to celebrate our anniversary and it was perfect! Excellent service, delightful meal and beautiful restaurant.”

“My overall grade for Creepies is: A- The backstory on this place is great. Owned by the Michelin star restaurant people next door. Food: absolutely great. We ordered mussels, Parisian gnocchi, beef tongue, saussison (sp?), roast chicken & snapper. French fries: awesome All delicious & highly recommend Service: very good & attentive Wine: sadly a very small and unfamiliar wines. We’ve been to France many times and were expecting a much broader & deeper French wine list. Or any country’s wine. The Burgundy we ordered for $175 was a bit disappointing Noise level: wow it’s loud. Could barely hear our party at a 4-top. Don’t expect an intimate environment. Desserts: unfortunately we had to rush to another location so we will come back to experience these highly rated desserts. Highly recommended. Will come back. Will not expect a great wine list.”

“I tried every vegan-friendly dish at buzzy new West Loop restaurant Creepies. Read on for rankings of my favorite dishes! 1. creamed butter beans w / spring legumes - so earthy and rich, reminds me of the Serbian bean soup from the late great 016 restaurant 2. leeks vinaigrette w / almonds and dill - they are doing things with both soft and crunchy leek that i never imagined 3. tutti frutti soft serve w/ candied tropical fruit - so much more generous and special than the usual sorbet 4. little gem w / parsley root, apple & sunflower seeds - nothing special 5. asparagus w / hazelnuts & brown butter - this one probably makes more sense with butter than oil!!!”

“Back at Creepies for a second time—still one of the best meals I’ve had in Chicago. My partner and I loooooved the warm brie gougères (dangerously amazing). The saucisson in puff pastry with pistachio mustard is a standout, and the roasted chicken with liver and wine sauce is a must. The blanquette de veau with fingerlings, asparagus, and the crepe all hit. Dessert—baguette ice cream with hard chocolate shell and buttery breadcrumbs—wild in the best way. Great wines too (Soif and a sparkling rosé called Ruth). Everything just works. Great staff, can’t wait to go back.”

“Foods are delicious and creative. Brie puff, tarte flambé tavern style, saucicssion, leak are my favorites, that dessert is really good too.”

“The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was excellent.”

“Inventive french dishes - the flavors are so well put together but save room for dessert. We had brie puffs, croquettes and deviled eggs to start. Crepe, gnocchi, and tarte flambe again delicious. And had veal to finish meal. We had baguette soft serve and salted cherry sorbet meringue cake that was my favorite.”

“My wife and I have been so excited to check out Creepies, mostly because the name makes us laugh but we also have heard rave reviews about the food. Finally got the chance to dine here this weekend and it did not disappoint! Service was excellent from the start, and the vibe inside is great. It’s a smaller space but I liked that it was a little more bright and vibrant instead of dark and moody which a lot of other places tend to do nowadays. For drinks, be aware they don’t have a full bar so it’s batched cocktails and they’re known for their wine. We weren’t drinking this time but the wine list seemed quite extensive! For food, we liked everything we got. My favorites were the Gnocchi and Tarte Flambé so I highly recommend those for sure. The roast chicken, brie Gougeres, saucisson, and even their fries are also all incredible. Can’t go wrong with any of those dishes either, and there will be many more we hope to try when we return. As for dessert, for sure get the baguette soft serve. It’s the perfect level of sweetness for ice cream in my opinion. Good portion sizes for the price point, all around a wonderful experience at Creepies so be sure to check them out!”
