“The food is delicious, fresh, and very clean. I also love that it’s served with plenty of fresh vegetables”

“If you want a true, authentic Vietnamese comfort food experience, you need to visit Cô 5. They feature a classic "Cơm Chỉ" (Rice, Point & Choose) concept, basically just look for the rice plate on the menu, pick the entrees from the glass display counter. You get to pick 3 dishes from the daily selection just by pointing at what looks good. The dishes rotate every day. I tried the Thịt Kho (braised pork belly), Sườn Xào Chua Ngọt (sweet and sour ribs), and Cá Kho (braised fish). Everything was absolutely amazing and tasted like a home-cooked meal. Other highlights: Bánh Khọt (savory mini rice pancakes) and Gỏi Cuốn (fresh spring rolls) are excellent starters. Pair your meal with Vietnamese coffee, it is incredibly strong. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you want real-deal Vietnamese home cook flavors in Chicago!”

“Co 5 Kitchen is a warm little gem in Uptown! The Vietnamese food hits all the right notes—fresh, flavorful bánh mì, and those tasty cafeteria-style dishes. Quick service, friendly vibes, and great value make it perfect for a cozy lunch or casual dinner. Highly recommend! 🌿🍜”

“Yummy food and a nice surprise! Their homemade spicy chili oil was so good. Will be coming back.”

“The most authentic Vietnamese food I’ve had! You can tell they put so much care and heart into everything they do. From the delicious food to the presentation and welcoming service, every detail feels thoughtful. It honestly feels like enjoying a home-cooked meal with family. ❤️”

“Quickly has become one of my favorite places off Argyle. It’s where I go when I’m missing my mom’s cooking as it’s very much homestyle cooking. A lot of dishes you can’t get at other restaurants and if they have it, it’s nowhere near as fresh as here. Last thing I got was the combo meal which I felt as a great deal for all the variety you get. I left very full and satisfied! Things I got were: braised catfish, caramelized pork and egg, tomato stuffed tofu, and bitter melon soup. All were delicious.”

“This neighborhood restaurant is amazing. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The guy was very helpful, explaining and recommending food options. The place is very spacious too. The egg rolls were very good, and the beef with rice #25 was delicious!”

“really yummy food. i especially love their che; they do it right. i’ll be coming back for sure”

“Newish family owned resturant that opened in my neighborhood. And I am all for supporting family businesses. Food portion sizes are about average but wow do they give you quite a bit of meat. And the vegetables are super fresh. So fresh you'd think they picked it this morning. I got the spicy beef soup. Although the broth is a bit oily, the noodles seems homemade and the flavors are subtle and mix really well together. It's really quite delicious and not in an overpowering way. They locked down subtle flavors. I sometimes have a craving for just something different and wow, this unique and worth a trip. Very modern and clean interior. Good location on corner with plenty of lighting. Customer service is good. Like who gives you tea when your waiting on take out. Parking can get a bit hectic but all open paid spots on broadway. If not take some time to find a free spot in neighborhood. Pricing is about average for pho, cheaper on drinks. So pricing isn't bad but you pay for better quality. I have to go back and go thru the menu but it's a remarkably excellant restaurant”
