Ying Dim Sum 88 蓝天点心
Ying Dim Sum 88 蓝天点心 — chinese in Chinatown worth a stop for the Dim Sum. Casual, established, and unapologetic about it. The food tastes like it should, with no compromises. Well-priced. "Bean curd roll w chicken was not crispy as i expected but the filling was surprisingly good as well" — Kimothy Kim [$]

“Best authentic restaurant in Chinatown. The food was so good I ate here three times in a 4 day vacation. Congee was especially good as a bowl was only ~$3 and very filling. Nice owners as well.”

“Best siu Mai’s in Chicago. Love the rice noodles too! Eat them fresh though, the noodles don’t travel well. Pro move: byo chili oil 😎”

“This is the closest to taishanese rice noodle rolls you’ll ever get in Chicago, amazing food. They will give you a device that beeps when your food is ready to be picked up at the counter”

“The shrimp shumai is packed with shrimp and bursting with flavor! I highly recommend this spot if you're okay with dining in a food court.”

“Ying Dim Sum is amazing! The food is fresh and tasty. The wontons, fried siu mai, and pork crepe are my favorites. The pork crepes are soft and full of flavor, the wonton soup is delicious, and the fried siu mai is crispy outside and juicy inside, and the staff is very friendly. The service is fast, and the food feels just like real dim sum from Guangzhou. I love this place and will definitely come back!”

“If I can give this place zero stars I would. I called in and specially request no onions. I came home (15-20 minute drive) and there was onion. Called and the lady say they will replace it when I go next time. Then they called me back asking for pictures for proof. Sent it and then they called back claiming that it was impossible. The owner called me back personally and state that she was the one who made my order and that she was sure there was no onion. She was accusing me that I was lying!! This is not the first time this has occurred that’s why I called in to let them know. Instead of expressing that they were wrong they accused me of lying. Here’s the photo and also the so order receipt. I won’t be ever going back here!! Avoid at all cost Updated review… it was raining and I happen to do grocery shopping at 88 market and my boys wanted dim sum. I decided to give the place a try and this time items were correct and everything was good. Will be going back for some more dim sum when in the area.”
