Ying Dim Sum 88 蓝天点心 — chinese in Chinatown worth a stop for the Dim Sum. Casual, established, and unapologetic about it. The food tastes like it should, with no compromises. Well-priced. "Bean curd roll w chicken was not crispy as i expected but the filling was surprisingly good as well" — Kimothy Kim

“Parking is ample in the morning and you avoid the clusterf*ck around Chinatown mall”
went in on a Saturday, it was crowded. Waited 30 mins for 5 dim sums. 4 are ok, but the congee was cold. 5$ for each.
I ordered two things in the morning and waited for 45 minutes.
Dimsum is not bad.

“Ying Dim Sum is amazing.”
Ying Dim Sum is amazing! The food is fresh and tasty. The wontons, fried siu mai, and pork crepe are my favorites. The pork crepes are soft and full of flavor, the wonton soup is delicious, and the fried siu mai is crispy outside and juicy inside, and the staff is very friendly. The service is fast, and the food feels just like real dim sum from Guangzhou. I love this place and will definitely come back!

“If I can give this place zero stars I would.”
If I can give this place zero stars I would. I called in and specially request no onions. I came home (15-20 minute drive) and there was onion. Called and the lady say they will replace it when I go next time. Then they called me back asking for pictures for proof. Sent it and then they called back claiming that it was impossible. The owner called me back personally and state that she was the one who made my order and that she was sure there was no onion. She was accusing me that I was lying!! This is not the first time this has occurred that’s why I called in to let them know. Instead of expressing that they were wrong they accused me of lying. Here’s the photo and also the so order receipt. I won’t be ever going back here!! Avoid at all cost Updated review… it was raining and I happen to do grocery shopping at 88 market and my boys wanted dim sum. I decided to give the place a try and this time items were correct and everything was good. Will be going back for some more dim sum when in the area.

“喜歡他們家的餛飩湯跟腸粉,尤其餛飩湯是芝加哥別地方吃不到的點心,除了價格可能有點稍高以外沒有得挑剔.”

“I didn’t have breakfast before going to the market for grocery.”
I didn’t have breakfast before going to the market for grocery. So I decided to grab some quick bites from the food court there. I ordered four different dim sum items, and they were all very delicious. Price was quite reasonable. I also appreciate how nice and friendly the staff working there was. What a surprise in a grocery store food court!
