“Tsing Tao in Wilmette is a great spot for a satisfying meal, and it’s nice to be back after our previous visits. We ordered the Family Special and some Lo Mein, and everything was really tasty. The Mongolian beef was a standout—full of flavor—and the Bu Bu platter was a hit, too. The portions were generous, leaving us with plenty for takeout. One of the best things about Tsing Tao is that the food feels healthier and less greasy compared to other local Chinese places, without sacrificing any flavor. The service was quick and friendly, making the experience even better. For the quality and quantity of food, Tsing Tao offers fantastic value. Plus, it’s nice to leave feeling good, full, and not overly thirsty. We’ll definitely keep coming back!”

“My husband and I stopped for lunch today at Tsing Tao restaurant in Wilmette, IL. We noticed the price of lunch had dropped (it was higher on a previous visit). The food was great and service was A+. The atmosphere was pleasant and we enjoyed the music while we dined. We were regular patrons under the original management. We’re glad to say we’ll continue to make this a regular routine, and we’ll invite our friends to join us.”
“Tsing Tao has been our family restaurant for the past 44 years. Since the new management took over, it felt rather difficult to go back — almost like seeing your ex-girlfriend in someone else’s arms. Last week, I finally gathered the courage to visit. I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised. The place looks beautiful under the new management — the renovated restroom, the new bar, and most impressively, the fine and authentic Chinese antiques that give the space such character. I’ve even been receiving calls from some of our old regulars telling me how good the food is. Not as good as mine, of course — but still very good! Please keep up the great work. You look beautiful in the new arms.”

“These folks know what they’re doing! Tonight’s menu included Hot & Sour soup, Orange Chicken and Crispy Honey Walnut Shrimp. All superb, with very attentive, friendly service. We’ve been in 3-4 times now since new ownership came in and it’s back on the regular circuit for us. Highly recommend.”
