Slurp Slurp Noodles — chinese in Chinatown; the Consistency is the highlight. The portions alone make it worth the trip. T Rank: "The service was quick, and the food arrived hot and fresh"

“But I figured it was more authentic than most noodle shops in the US”
I had high expectations of this place based off so many good reviews, but I was left very disappointed.
The food was excellent and we would return if we didn't feel rushed and pressured to leave a bigger tip.
The waitresses are rude and have no customer service skills.

“Unassuming clean facility.”
Unassuming clean facility. Food was remarkably good. Hand pulled noodles as they should be and slightly chewy. Had the pig ears which was done quite nicely and the noodles with tendon and the house special with beef, brisket and tripe. Meat was very tender and generous portions. Noodle portion was adequate but if you’re really hungry you may want to add additional noodles. Broth was clear and very tasteful. Will definitely be back.

“The noodles were fantastic.”
The noodles were fantastic! We went on a Sunday right when they opened. I ordered chow hand pulled noodles with pork belly...Wow it was so delicious. It just had such great flavor that we didn't add anything extra...I have always been a fan of thicker noodles so the consistency was perfect. Just the right amount of chew to it perfectly pulled. Porky was nice and tender packed with rich flavor. There was chili oil and I think it was pickled mustard greens on the table. 100% recommend!

“The experience was FABULOUS!!”
The experience was FABULOUS!!! My partner and went on our visit and enjoyed everything. We got two of their noodle soups, some steamed buns, crab Rangoon and sesame balls and enjoyed the feast!!! I will definitely come back on my next visit.

“To be honest, I’m not an expert on this food category.”
To be honest, I’m not an expert on this food category. But I thought it was good. The noodles tasted like they were made from scratch with whole wheat flour. They were soft (some might say to the point of being slightly soggy) and stuck together a bit. But I figured it was more authentic than most noodle shops in the US. I personally had the slice beef shank. It had a decent flavor, but it wasn’t overpowering by any means. Overall, I would definitely recommend. The place was busy at dinner time, so it seems like they have a loyal following that would agree.

“Ended up at this restaurant on Valentine’s Day after a long wait elsewhere, and I'm so glad it turned out this way.”
Ended up at this restaurant on Valentine’s Day after a long wait elsewhere, and I'm so glad it turned out this way! This was hands down some of the best chicken fried rice I've had in Chicago. While the presentation might not impress at first glance, the taste is absolutely spot-on. Definitely a 10/10 for a chicken fried rice.

“If you want an authentic simple bowl of Chinese hand-pull noodle soup, this is the place for you :).”
If you want an authentic simple bowl of Chinese hand-pull noodle soup, this is the place for you :). There might be nothing fancy — but it’s flavorful, it has a good portion, and good price as always. Their Bao Zi in the bamboo steamer looks so good too and I’d want to try it next time.

“Stumbled across this quick dine in joint.”
Stumbled across this quick dine in joint. Quality made noodles at a very reasonable price. Noodles are definitely fresh, you may need scissors...lol. Batch of steam buns was on point, they did an excellent job with the dough, good balance and " fluffyness ". Stir fried noodles have great flavor and good portion size. Dumplings are a good snack or you can add soup and noodles and make it a meal. If you are a big eater or want to share a bowl, recommend adding extra noodles to your dish, well worth the extra 1.50. They also validate for the public parking lot so that's an extra bonus. Also got the duck noodles with extra noodles. It's a big bowl, so be hungry or have someone to share with. Overall good place to eat. Nothing fancy. Fresh made dishes at a fair price. Everything is cooked to order so it's pipping hot.
