I do not typically leave reviews, but this was my first visit to this establishment, encouraged by my girlfriend who had previously enjoyed it.
I’ve ordered from New Star Restaurant a few times after work and have never had an issue until my most recent visit.

Restaurant is 45 min to 1 hour away from home, the drive is worth it, my family picks this restaurant very often as the food and drinks are excelente. The service is always above my expectations, everybody treats us very well, Amy is one of best, she takes the time to explain the menu if we have questions and her recommendations are a good choice. Our Chef was Johnny he explained very well what each sauce is for and were entertained with the preparation of food, see attached video. I was struggling a bit with the chopsticks and Amy came to the rescue with an attachment that made eating with chopsticks very easy.

This was my first time experiencing hibachi and I really enjoyed it. I went with a group of co-workers for our holiday party. Our server was really nice and our cook was great. The food was amazing, and you get such a good portion that you'll probably always have some leftover for take-out. Will definitely come back again.

This spot has been hiding under our noses only 10 mins from our house and we will certainly be regular customers now! Service was so fast and great- Ben was excellent! I am Gluten Free and he was super helpful! I was so surprised by the huge gluten free menu, I almost didn't know where to start or what to get! I couldn't tell you the last time I had Orange Chicken, so special to be able to have again! They even have Gluten Free soy sauce!

We absolutely loved everything about New Star. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I messed up and forgot to ask our chefs name but he was very funny, and skillful with his tricks. The food tasted wonderful with large portions. Amy, our waitress, was fantastic! She was quick to make sure we had everything we wanted and so kind :) My partner and I will definitely be coming back!

“Amazing food and drink choices.”
Amazing food and drink choices! Very kid friendly where the staff was very patient with our kids (3 moms 6 kids 😅) They even gave each kid a toy that kept them entertained the whole time. Sometimes when places have such a big menu quality of food goes down but NOT this place. Everything was amazing! We got sushi and Thai and Chinese food. All amazing 10/10. Service was fast, prices were great and the atmosphere was homey. We will definitely be back to try the hibachi!

What a great place! Food is phenomenal.... I cannot believe a quart of egg drop soup. Little bit over $3 so was there wonton soup? You're paying over $8 anywhere for a quart of soup. It's one of the best egg drop soups I've had .. went in for their lunch specials. I couldn't believe it. I ordered so much. Food was less than $60. Three entrees at the lunch. Special price and three appetizers... Look forward to going there again
