“Shrimp Noodle was great and i also like this chicken rice a lot”

“I recommend going during the lunch special; it offers great value—delicious food and generous portions.”

“I’m a Singaporean who has eaten from the original shops back in Singapore so I was really excited to hear that an actual Singaporean restaurant opened up in Chicago! Tried their limited time menu, the laksa in store and got the hainanese chicken rice for takeaway. Laksa review: not bad, 6/10. Nothing too special, the rice noodle in the laksa was too soft and the taupok (dried beancurd) failed to soak up the broth well like a sponge. The broth was good but overall the other ingredients used were not very 入味 (flavors not very absorbed). I did enjoy drinking the broth after finishing the ingredients though. Hainanese chicken rice: BOMB. I had hainanese chicken rice in another Singaporean food establishment in SF and was really upset how it was bad and actually had high hopes for this one since it’s from my trusted Singaporean brand. I loved how the sauces really hit close to home and the chicken was also so WELL POACHED. The rice was soooo fragrant it really brought me back home. 11/10!!! So glad I decided to dabao this back home. I hope this dish stays on the menu so that more people can get exposed to authentic Singaporean hainanese chicken rice. Hands down the best hainanese chicken rice I’ve eaten in USA!!! PLEASE BRING YOURSELF TO SF BAY AREA 😭😭😭 Only area for improvement for this is that the sauce they gave is too little!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭🤣”

“beautiful place!!! chinatown restaurants can be pricey as someone here often but it turns out that this restaurant was not expensive at ALL. my meal was under $15 with a drink included (it isn’t in the picture but i had a diet coke). i came with 7 others and the servers we had were so nice, it’s a tiny place but the atmosphere is great and the restaurant was nice. my food was really filling i usually can eat a lot but i didn’t even finish my food so their servings are great. check them out! 🫶🏽🤎”

“My wife and I came here the day after coming for a concert. The host was nice and the owner was very kind. I ate the limited edition Singapore laksa noodle. It was delicious, I would come back to Chicago just for this. If I can recommend for it to be on the permanent menu I would. This was amazing and I cannot wait to come back.”

“They let me bring my dog (she was in a carrier and sleeping) and checked in on her occasionally. The food is tasty! Not bland or spicy, chicken came with lemon and wasn't dry. Perfect portions. I reccomend the cold tofu over the warm tofu.”

“Tastes so good w/ shrimp broth. I got the signature w/ wide noodles.”

“Various great dishes with strong shrimp flavors, quick service as well.”

“Excellent shrimp broth. The thin noodles is fresh and delicious. The only thing border me is the oily level, less oily will be better. We definitely will be back.”

“i was so excited to try this place out after seeing their posters from before they even opened. i got the shrimp trio with wide noodles. i was expecting the wide noodles to be wider than what they were but it was still good. the broth was amazing. you can really taste how fragrant and in-depth the flavor is. i will say, it can feel a little oily/heavy after awhile, but i didn’t mind too much. definitely worth checking out during the cold weather”
