Minghin Cuisine - South Loop — reliable chinese in South Loop. Modern space that photographs well but eats even better. The cooking is rooted in real tradition.

“Perfect for sharing dishes and ordering more food as needed”
We had made a reservation for 14 people in person 3 days before ,then reconfirmed the day before the party.we supposedly had a private room reserved for 1 pm .
I was expecting this place to be good given how popular it was and how many locations it has, but I was disappointed.
I don't understand how they received good reviews, it isn't deserved.

Great food. My kids said "best restaurant ever!" But even better service. Our waiter warned us that we were ordering too much and then we accidentally lost my daughter's retainer and they went through the trash to get it! Thank you!!

“love the Chinatown location and decided to check out the south loop location with a friend.”
love the Chinatown location and decided to check out the south loop location with a friend. came around noon at lunch time on a weekday and was empty besides one table. the atmosphere was a little odd and it felt like we were being watched heavily, but the food did not disappoint! highly recommend the crispy pork belly, it absolutely melted in your mouth!

“Really enjoyed our meal.”
Really enjoyed our meal. We chose 6 dim sum options, probably one too many for our appetites, but we enjoyed the leftovers. My first taste of chicken feet, very good. I opted for the peanut sauce chicken feet. Large restaurant, so seating was not a problem. Would definitely return. Great meal.

A classic Chicagoland dim sum spot, this MingHin branch is one of the better locations both in terms of ambiance and food quality. The dumplings, buns, and rice crepes were all fresh tasting and well-flavored. A great choice for dim sum in a modern and comfy setting within South Loop.

Very nice and relaxing place to eat. The food was delicious, but portions were way too big. I would absolutely eat here again!

“From another state coming .”
From another state coming . Food was really good . Can’t ask more for it for that price . I ordered a bunch of them because i want to try . And they were all 9/10 . The fry rice was so good ( i like more flavor but it’s pretty much good ) . The pork was so good . They choose a good meat ( the fat wasn’t too much so you don’t feel too much when you eat , i wish the crunchy skin part could thicker but most likely not cause pork in America doesn’t have thick skin ) . The vegetables was 10/10 . Fresh . Crunchy , doesn’t smell oily . Nice . Other food was good and decent . As expected. Thanks you . Waited was nice . Probably need more attention but was real nice . I forgot the card and the run out give it to Me

“Went here on a rainy day and the place still had a lot of guests which speaks alot for the restaurant.”
Went here on a rainy day and the place still had a lot of guests which speaks alot for the restaurant. The staff here were extremely attentive and their service was exceptional. They start with giving complimentary tea. We had veg dumplings, pork dumpling, fried rice and crispy fish fillet. The food was great and the portion size did not disappoint. The restaurant overall is extremely spacious. Will definitely visit again.

“We visited this restaurant on a recent trip to Chicago.”
We visited this restaurant on a recent trip to Chicago. The staff were so friendly, my drink never got low they even brought me the picture of water to me. The menu and ordering was super easy from the iPad. The food was delicious and generous, and even came without nuts per our request, too bad we didn’t have room for To-Go boxes. We would recommend this place for sure!

An absolutely beautiful restaurant! The duck is chef’s kiss, and the presentation a plus. Everything is served hot, fresh, and quickly. If you love Dim Sum you won’t be disappointed!
