Bombay Chopsticks by India House-Chicago
Bombay Chopsticks by India House stands out in River North for bold Indo-Chinese favorites, especially crispy chili chicken, chicken lollipops, hakka noodles, veg Manchurian, and firecracker shrimp, served in a lively atmosphere with generally fast, friendly service. It’s popular for casual group meals and buffet lunches, though some diners report loud crowds, long waits, bland mains, inconsistent portions, and disappointing food quality.

“Fire cracker shrimp was awesome... Nice ambiance and great service by sanket.”

“Best Indian food in Chicago. We had buffet lunch here and it was absolutely delicious. A must have for all foodies. I also tasted indo-chineese feom Bombay Chopsticks and it definitely is one of my favorite place. Kudos to all the staffs at Bombay Chopsticks.”

“I loved their order when I had ordered from this place via uber eats so I was extremely excited to dine in but I was slightly disappointed with the food when we dined in. The honey chilli potatoes were a big miss ! My friend ordered a lamb manchurian but she felt it was overcooked. Update: Tried this place again, while gobhi manchurian was good this time but the Navratan Korma was too bad, full of black pepper, no flavour only pepper!”

“Definitely leaves much to be desired about the food quality and hygiene. More expensive than deserved.”

“Unfortunately, I had to give only 1 star for the food. Service and atmosphere were definitely 5 stars. We ordered samosa, chicken pakoda, chicken 65, naan, and chicken tikka curry. None of the food items were appetizing. I’m not even sure if what they served was chicken 65 or chili chicken (you can see in the picture). I don’t know on what continent this is considered chicken 65. They used the same chicken for both chicken 65 and chicken pakoda. Chicken pakoda is supposed to be dipped in a besan mixture and fried to be crispy, but what they served was basically chicken tenders dipped in besan batter. The chicken lollipops had no salt at all. We will never dine here again.”
“Good place for chicken lollipop, chilli chicken , Noodles and much more. Service is very fast. Overall satisfactory.”
“Yesterday I tried this Indo-Chinese spot, and it was such a great experience! The food was full of bold flavors, perfectly balancing spicy, savory, and tangy tastes. The chili chicken was crispy and flavorful, the hakka noodles were deliciously seasoned, and the Manchurian had the perfect kick. Every dish felt fresh and packed with authentic taste. The service was friendly, quick, and welcoming, which made the meal even better. If you love flavorful Indo-Chinese cuisine, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious food with amazing taste!”
