“Pickled daikon and radish dish is full of thick cut, perfectly pickled veggies”
His steamed buns and dumplings are quite delicious, but I'm not sure if his kitchen is clean enough.

Had the Taiwanese braised beef noodle and a steamed pork bao. Excellent food and good/quick service. Will definitely add to my list of Chinatown favorites, and be back to try the other dishes.

This place wins as my favorite dumpling spot in Chinatown and Chicago. Dumplings are great. The decor is beautiful. They have ALL your proper dumpling condiments. Absolutely OFF THE CHAIN! Cant wait to come back and try the noodles.

“I really enjoyed eating at Legend Dumping + Bao.”
I really enjoyed eating at Legend Dumping + Bao. A very cozy spot with super easy kiosk ordering. The lamb dumplings were juicy, flavorful and made super quick!! Plus, I really appreciated the fact of being able to grab extra spices from the sauce station on my own and being able to make my dumplings to the spiciness of my liking. 🫶🥟

“Amazing noodle soups.”
Amazing noodle soups. The flavors and atmosphere make it a great rest stop while touring Chinatown. I loved the rice noodles and extra tender beef. Thank you for your help when ordering. 😊😊

“I loved that their were plenty of vegetarian and pescatarian options.”
I loved that their were plenty of vegetarian and pescatarian options! My favorites were the shrimp dumplings and the vegan bao. This is a very casual, order at a kiosk type of restaurant.

This was our first time back in Chinatown in a good while. Stopped by here since we have not tried dumplings like these before. What a surprise! Dumplings are bussin! Will be coming back here next chance we get.

“I finally stopped by Chinatown to try Legend Dumpling + Bao.”
I finally stopped by Chinatown to try Legend Dumpling + Bao! When I got there, it was a small but somewhat crowded place. It depends on the time of day when you might have to wait for a table. I was able to order through the kiosk, and I got the Taiwan braised pork noodles with streamed pork and cabbage bao. Please stop by! Definitely worth the time to eat here.

“The price for dumplings is unbeatable so it's a great spot to stop in and try a few things.”
The price for dumplings is unbeatable so it's a great spot to stop in and try a few things. My only con was that the Xiao Long Bao are not soup dumplings like I was expecting, so if you're hoping for that I'd look elsewhere. Otherwise, good quick stop!

Ordered to go via kiosk but saw others who I assume were able to order online or over phone who came in to pick up their orders. Opened earlier than other places. Very clean restaurant & friendly quick service. Everything was delicious with good prices. Will return whenever in the area.

“Definitively a gem.”
Definitively a gem. A bit small, very unassuming place but food is top notch. Need to order via kiosk, price is more than reasonable and dumplings are full of meat. We got pork and shrimp and pork with pickled cabbage. Maybe one of the best we had. Cucumber salad fresh as it can get. Taste your mom's garden cucumbers there. Pickled daikon and radish dish is full of thick cut, perfectly pickled veggies. Bathroom is spotless, I'm presuming their kitchen is that clean as well. Well definitely come back when in Chicago again. Definitely worthy legend in the name
