Tsaocaa
Tsaocaa — a cafe spot in Chinatown. The look is curated without feeling cold. "Could have had a little more heat to it as it was rather mild but the chicken was so tender and juicy that" — Jason Grimes [$]

“I love their Korean chicken wings!! So flavorful and crunchy!! Just tried their new drinks today, also very good!! Strawberry matcha mochi is a must try!!”

“This place Tsaocaa is definitely worth recommending! We ordered the Korean shaved ice, and the portion was huge, loaded with colorful mochi pieces, almond slices, peanut powder, and shredded coconut. With the drizzle of condensed milk on the side, the flavor was rich but not overly sweet — really well-balanced and delicious. The café itself is clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and polite. It’s the perfect spot to stop by after a meal in Chinatown — refreshing, satisfying, and super tasty. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-star review — if you’re in Chicago’s Chinatown, this shaved ice is a must-try!”

“I’m still thinking about the shaved ice!!! We got the tiramisu and melon shaved ice. The tiramisu one tasted exactly like that, and the melons tasted really fresh and sweet. SO good!! I definitely want to go back when I can to have some more.”

“Enjoyed their wings with spicy sauce on the side and the strawberry yogurt drink!”

“Cute spot for delicious Korean shaved ice! If you haven’t had it before, it is like a milky creamy shaved ice instead of the bland American crap that gets soaked in too sweet syrup (don’t get me wrong, there’s a time and place when those are yummy too). We had the tiramisu and strawberry shaved ice. We also ordered the egg waffle but didn’t take a picture. The egg waffle is 100% a must with whatever shaved ice you get - such a good pairing! Make sure you come with plenty of room left in your stomach! The portions of these are massive and 6 people could easily share one dessert after getting dinner in Chinatown. It does come with red beans if you like them. Most friends that didn’t grow up eating them don’t care for them. Tiramisu: this was a wow. So delicious, every bite. There was enough toppings for the whole thing. Strawberry: this was a wow and my favorite between the two we tried. I am a strawberry lover. I could probably use more strawberries than what comes on it, but only because I devoured the strawberries with probably too high of a ratio to the shaved ice in each bite.”

“I like this place. They have amazing tea selection. However, this time, my experience wasn’t good. I have ordered macaroons for take out. A few hours later, at home, I tried them. They weren’t good: in particular, they smelled like some fried meat. It’s terrible for a dessert. Also, I felt like one macaroon wasn’t fresh. I couldn’t finish it. It’s sad as I wasted my money. I hope it’s one time issue. PS: I don’t know how to reply to your official comment, but thank you for the quick reply. I had earl grey and passion fruit macaroons. Both had weird fried meat or just kitchen smell; passion fruit didn’t feel fresh. They both looked good. Feel free to share your contacts if you need more info from me. Thank you!”
