TOMOKOHI — Bucktown cafe that most people haven't found yet. Polished but not pretentious. You're greeted like a regular, even the first time. David Shaikhutdinov: "Their cold brew is outstanding — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced without being bitter"

“I also had a brief chat with the owner and loved hearing the story behind the name (keeping that a secret)”

“The perfect sun-drenched spot for a winter day.”
The perfect sun-drenched spot for a winter day! The brown sugar matcha was delicious and I can’t wait to try the hojicha latte next. It was -3 degrees outside today, but nice and warm inside thanks to the big windows. A great spot for some journaling!

“Small shop serving their own blend of metric beans along side some unique and high quality pastries.”
Small shop serving their own blend of metric beans along side some unique and high quality pastries. Interior is slick but seating is limited. Its fairly quiet overall and could lend itself to being a good spot to work or read. Worth going to if you're in the neighborhood.

“One of the best hidden gems in the neighborhood.”
One of the best hidden gems in the neighborhood. Their cold brew is outstanding — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced without being bitter. I stopped by on a sunny day with my bike, and it was the perfect refreshment. The vibe inside is cozy yet modern, with thoughtful details and plants by the window that give it a welcoming feel. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to when I want quality coffee and a quiet place to relax

“Great mural, and even greater staff.”
Great mural, and even greater staff! Most important of all though, coffee was phenomenal, especially on a hot day when you were a little tired. What more can you ask for than a sip of oat lavender cold brew straight from the draft and a sense of community!

“Ordered the Strawberry Matcha iced dine-in and it was perfectly delicious.”
Ordered the Strawberry Matcha iced dine-in and it was perfectly delicious! Baristas were really nice ~ the blueberry cream croissant was not as sweet as I would like but I have a massive sweet tooth lol I’ll try something else next time! Went on a Tuesday. Everyone was working out studying. Bright windows. Clean. Quiet :) Free street parking

This place has been open for four days now, and I’ve been here every single day! I absolutely adore their coffee and pastries. The best combination is the matcha latte and the peach galette—it’s like match made in heaven.
