“Rica comida y excelente servicio. El dia que vuelvo a visitar Chicago sin duda volvere a desayunar en este lugar”

“The food is great, Tortas are the best I've ever had. Everyone is so friendly here.”

“Everything I’ve tried here has been amazing!! They sell cute knick knacks and clothes as well! One of my favorite spots in the city hands down!”

“Cute little spot serving a mix of American and Mexican food. They have tamales and tortas along with sandwiches. I grabbed a chicken tamale and an iced coffee and they both tasted great. Limited seating inside but it is quite cozy.”

“Grabbed an iced coffee before my kids’ piano lesson, $5 after tip. Love these mom and pop places with their multi functionality and decor. Always a plus that they offer affogato.”

“Lovely, colorful cafe! Hot chocolate and muffin were delicious and very affordable. There are neighborhood flyers and unique goods for sale. It feels like you’re part of the neighborhood while you’re there. Very welcoming staff. There was someone studying while I was there; great spot for getting work done or catching up with friends. Even got a cute note on my drink sleeve! Will definitely be recommending and returning.”

“Great breakfast sandwhich, good coffee, good tamales. I'm looking forward to returning. Fun mexican novelties for sale, too. It's still a great place and value. Two coffees and two breakfast sandwiches were under $20, while other independent coffee shops in the area were more like $30 Service is always great with a clean environment.”

“Really nice art and things for sale, Great juice and teas and even better tamales ! 🫔 it’s been awhile since I been in but we will be back soon!”

“So cute. So Sweet. So yummy. Everyone is fantastically friendly and sweet. Sad about the hours being so limited, but, COVID.”
“This is my new favorite cafe in the northwest Chicago area. All of the prices are fair I always get an iced mocha and it’s only $4.50. The tamales are also really good and packed with meat and not dry like most tamales. I also get the torta which is $12 but really big it’s enough to feed 2 people. I just wish they were open later but I always come during my lunch break. The two ladies working are always very nice and welcoming!”
