“The place does not have the best ADA accessibility, but I'd put that on the landlord and not the shop”
If this is your first experience with matcha, this could be more enjoyable.
This taste nothing like a Filipino food. I ordered adobo and got pulled pork barbecue with corn and rice on top.

“This cute little cafe reminded me of the cafes in Amsterdam for some reason.”
This cute little cafe reminded me of the cafes in Amsterdam for some reason. Super delicious Filipino bites, & the pandan (the “vanilla of the East” plant) latte / chai were outstanding. 10/10 would recommend.

“Love the team at Mano that turns on my brain every morning.”
Love the team at Mano that turns on my brain every morning! Seriously couldn’t get through my day without getting a cappuccino from them! Each of their baristas knows how to perfectly execute the espresso to foam ratio. I walk by two other coffee shops to get to them. Because it’s worth it! I know they make more exciting drinks but I stopped by every day for cappuccino because it’s consistently good, their team is incredible and it’s fast! I’ve also had the food which is quite wonderful! I’m a big fan of the classic hashbrowns! Definitely give this place a try! If you’re lucky you’ll get Jose one of my favorite baristas.

“Very cute homey feel cafe.”
Very cute homey feel cafe. They have your classic coffee drinks with phillipino variations. Constant flow of guests which is a great sign and super busy on weekends. Enjoyed the food and the cold brew was solid.

Awesome, chill, neighborhood coffee shop with quite good Filipino influenced dishes. I had the Adobo Bowl (not exactly Filipino but was excellent). Ample seating, free WIFI, bright, and relaxing. The coffee was good too :)

“5/5 stars After marrying into a Filipino family, my mother-in-law has introduced me to so many...”
5/5 stars After marrying into a Filipino family, my mother-in-law has introduced me to so many delicious Filipino dishes that I'm now hooked and always looking to try more authentic Filipino cuisine. Mano Modern Cafe definitely delivers on that front! We ordered through DoorDash and everything arrived very hot and incredibly tasty. The flavors reminded me of the wonderful food my mother-in-law makes for me at home. The quality and authenticity really stood out. There are quite a few Filipino restaurants in the Fulton Market area (Mano Modern might technically be more West Town, but close enough), and this place is definitely one of the best. The food was fantastic and the whole experience was great. If you're looking to try Filipino cuisine or you're already a fan like me, definitely give Mano Modern Cafe a shot. Highly recommended!

“This filipino cafe is my favorite place to order late morning takeout from.”
This filipino cafe is my favorite place to order late morning takeout from. I get an Ube steamer, and a Silog Longanisa + Tocino Bacon bowl. It has garlic rice, a fried egg, sweet sausage and bacon. It’s amazing. The dining room is on the smaller side which is why I typically do takeout.

“Everything I ordered was very delicious.”
Everything I ordered was very delicious. I will say the price is decently steep but I would definitely return. The Calamnsi Iced tea tasted like an elevated Arnold Palmer, the chicken adobo bowl was very flavorful, and the lumpia was very crisp and tasty as well.

Came here for the ube matcha latte and it was one of the best matcha’s I have had in the city. You can also buy their syrups to use at home! Great place to sit and do work or catch up with a friend!

“The Pan De Slider- Tocino Bacon was so good.”
The Pan De Slider- Tocino Bacon was so good. It took me to the Philippines, opening my taste buds to something new. Slider includes candied tocino bacon, Pan de sal, fried egg, american cheese, and Pinoy Bang Bang sauce. And it is definitely not tiny, as you would assume for a slider. Definitely a perfect breakfast for one. Be sure to add a hash brown on the side, then stick it right on top of that cheese and egg. Coffee was great, too, I might add. Counter service, plenty of space for dining in. Quick service, great staff.

“What a nice use of a small space.”
What a nice use of a small space. I was waiting in between a meeting and needed a place to sit down to crank out some emails before the meeting started. I looked on Google Maps for a small café and found Mano Modern. When I walked in my favorite song was playing by Sir. This immediately set the tone for me letting me know that I have arrived in a place that feels familiar. I didn’t try the food, but the ube chai what is delightful experience. I really liked how the purple set off the tones and the chai still tasted very much like a traditional chai tea. I did not have the food this time. However, the people that were ordering. Made the food look delightful and delicious. You couldn’t hear the comings and goings of the kitchen, so I didn’t even know they served for food. I don’t know about parking and it looks like it was street parking and sparse. I did walk to the café, which was settled on the corner and easy to find since it’s all white building. The atmosphere was good there was plants which I love TV plan the Magic School Bus and also music. People are in their working and on their laptops or drawing, which made us feel very community based café. Not really a space for children as it’s not a whole lot of space to move around. The accessibility portion is challenging since you have to walk up a flight of stairs on a platform to order. Not sure how that got pass permits haha. When I’m on the side of town, I will go again.
