Happy Monday Coffee — this location is very close to my home in Edgewater, so I decided to walk over and give it a try. I have to say, this branch is quite rare because it only opens on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 3 PM. The coffee is wonderfully aromatic with a very distinctive flavor. I really enjoyed it.

Happy Monday! I stopped by this charming little coffee spot and had a great donut paired with a black iced coffee — simple, fresh, and delicious. If you’re looking for a cute place within walking distance of Andersonville or Hollywood Beach, look no further. The vibe was perfect with Spanish samba music playing in the background and a nice selection of country-specific coffees you can buy to take home. Definitely worth a visit!

Best coffee I’ve had in Chicago in years. The light roast from Tanzania is exquisite. Super friendly owner and nice vibe about the place plus feel-good music (from DJ-like set-up).

UPDATE: the owner reached out as I requested, so I’m changing this to a 5 star review. Fantastic coffee shop, the owner goes above and beyond for his customers. Original Review: If ownership reaches out after this review I’ll change it to 5 stars… Went in today, I love this place and the guy who is always there is fantastic and so nice. However, there was a younger girl out front this time, I went to the counter and asked if I could get the “drink that comes in a teddy bear”. I think it’s called the thyme drink or something but I didn’t know the name. She said “we don’t have that”. I said “Oh, it was available at this location last Saturday and I got the drink”. She said “well that was last Saturday” with a weird attitude. I literally stood there confused and taken aback with her demeanor. Awkward silence, then she went to the back and I’m assuming asked the owner, and they both came to the front, the owner with the drink and bear mug in hand. She said nothing after during checkout. I walked away and my friend said “what was that all about” confused with her somewhat negative deportment as well. Don’t hire youth to work customer service if they have no customer service skills. It will ruin your business. Otherwise this place is amazing and the coffee is on point. Perfectly balanced, and once again, the owner or guy who always works there is so personable.
