“The biggest highlight of the night was the service. Everyone was incredibly kind, explained the inspiration behind the dishes, and even asked for honest feedback because they genuinely want to keep improving. You can tell how much heart this family has put into the restaurant, and it's the kind of local business that's easy to root for. The space is casual with comfortable booths and greenery throughout, making it a nice spot for dinner with friends or family. There were a lot of standouts throughout the meal. The Spicy Crazy Noodles had perfectly chewy noodles with authentic Thai flavors and were easily one of my favorites. The Spinach Pot Stickers were unlike any dumplings I've had before. Instead of a typical wrapper, they had a unique chewy, slightly dry texture that tasted homemade and paired perfectly with the creamy spinach filling. The Crab Rangoon was also one of the best I've had, with a creamy filling where you could actually taste the crab. The sushi was another highlight. Everything tasted fresh, and their nigiri is HUGE!! Each piece of fish is at least double the size of what you typically get, so it's much more filling than expected. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and Seared Tuna Carpaccio were also fresh and flavorful. The Beef Short Rib from the robata grill was tender with a delicious teriyaki glaze, and the Shibuya Honey Toast was a fun dessert with crispy toast, fresh fruit, and plenty of honey. Not every dish was my favorite, but overall I left impressed by both the food and the people behind it. Butterfly Sushi is definitely worth checking out for the spicy crazy noodles and huge nigiri alone!”

“Great experience all around. Large variety of food options from sushi and sashimi/nigiri to hibachi style entres. They really go above and beyond with plating the food as well to make it more fun.”

“The food was delicious, the service was great, would definitely go again! The crispy tuna dish was very good, along with the California roll, miso soup and iced coffee.”

“First time I visited the place and loved the delicious dishes and the attention was the best”

“This place was awesome as per usual. The sushi tasted amazing, especially the one with the fried shrimp on top (pictured). We also got the thai curry and godzilla roll which tasted great! The mango smoothie I got was massive and everything was so worth the price. The location was also super clean and nice inside and the service was so fast.”

“Spicy salmon sushi was best!! Also all panang curry was great!! Thai skewers was decent”

“This is our go-to spot for sushi and noodles. We lived in Thailand for a year, and this is the closest we’ve found in Chicago to traditional taste. Presentation here is absolutely stunning and the cocktails are made strong. 10/10 and easy place for groups because there’s something for everyone on the menu.”

“Love this place! I ordered the dragon roll, I cant remember the full name. I was amazed by the presentation, came out very beautiful and I enjoyed the sushi.”

“Service is always good. Everyone is super nice. Food and presentation are great! Portions sizes are worth the price.”

“Beautiful food presentation and amazing service! I ordered spicy noodles, crunch sushi roll, fried gyoza, & the chocolate lava cake. I also got a mango drink. Everything tasted amazing and came out fast. Really enjoyed the food here!”
